Alongside the likes of Chvrches as the preppers at the Animal Shelter, there's also famous V-Tuber Usada Pekora. Fortunately, fans of the V-Tuber won't need to venture off the beaten path to find them. Instead, the V-Tuber has a cameo appearance as one of the characters that players will meet as they progress through the main story. Where to Find Usada Pekora in Death Stranding 2
An Unexpected Character
Usada Pekora can be found as part of the main storyline, specifically Order 25: Deliver Piping Hot Pizza to the Data Scientist. This order is given to you by the Pizza Chef prepper, who you'll make your way to for Order 24. Order 25 requires players to deliver the pizza to the Data Scientist within 10 minutes. Failing to do so will class the order as a failure, so using a vehicle is your best option here. I used the Tri-Cruiser for its speed and mobility here. Just make sure you've got plenty of battery so you can boost as much of the way as possible.
There's a bandit camp that lies between Heartman's Lab and The Pizza Chef that you can end up going through on your way to the Data Scientist if you're not careful. Just skirt around the edges of this and you can avoid a huge time sink.
The main thing to be aware of here is the various traps that The Data Scientist has surrounded her base with. There are a ton of exploding rocky pillars and other annoying boulders that can easily cause you a ton of problems if you're not careful, damaging your vehicle and precious pizza cargo. While the Tri-Cruiser is a little more susceptible to damage, its smaller, more nimble frame makes it much easier to make your way through these obstacles and deliver the pizza in one piece and within the time limit.
Once you've reached the prepper, make your delivery, and you'll be rewarded with a few different things:
- Porter Suit: AI Camo (Prevents you from being detected by mole mines' AI cameras)
- Sneaking Boots (Dampen the sound of your footsteps)
- SL-LW Assault Rifle LV1 (A silent, lightweight version of the assault rifle, perfect for those who like the stealthy approach to combat)
How to Get Usada Pekora's Nousagi Hat in Death Stranding 2
An Adorable Hat with a Handy Perk
The Nousagi hat can be unlocked by reaching connection level 2 with the Data Scientist. After reaching this level, Usada Pekora will let players know that she has a little treat to give you that she's never given to anyone else before and send it up to Sam via the cargo delivery system.
Not only is it a pretty fun little cosmetic item, but it also slows down Sam's stamina depletion rate which is ideal for those orders that are better completed on-foot.
