It’s been a busy week in Monopoly GO with the Star Wars Partners event bringing lots of fun and rewards. Players have had a blast teaming up with friends and grabbing lucrative rewards. It started on May 13 and runs for five days, ending on May 18.

The Star Wars Partners event comes with some amazing rewards. Fans can win the Luke and Yoda board token, the Wild Sticker, a bunch of dice rolls, and more. But with the event ending soon, there’s one big question on everyone’s mind: what happens to the leftover tokens once it’s over? Let’s take a look.

What Happens to Extra Tokens Once Star Wars Partners Ends

Once the Star Wars Partners event ends, all the event tokens disappear. This means that you won’t be able to save or use your leftover tokens in any future Partners events.

Monopoly GO handles leftover tokens from minigames in different ways. Sometimes you get dice rolls, but most of the time, it’s just cash. That’s what happens with Star Wars Partners too. Once the event ends, any extra tokens you didn’t use will automatically be turned into money. Players don’t need to do anything. Just log in after the event, and you will see a message saying your leftover tokens were converted to cash.

Cash is used to upgrade landmarks in the 2023 board game. Each board has landmarks that players need to upgrade six times before they can move on to the next board. So cash isn’t useless. Sure, dice rolls would’ve been nicer, but getting cash is still better than losing your tokens completely. Better something than nothing.

If you want to get more tokens, be sure to play the Hyper Tour event and the Droid Lookout tournament. The solo event has 3,780 tokens, and the Droid Lookout tournament has 2,700 tokens.
