What Happens to Leftover Tokens After Gingerbread Partners Ends in Monopoly GO
When a Partner event in Monopoly GO wraps up, all the rewards, milestones, and tokens tied to it disappear. So we recommend using your tokens while the event is still live. This is because these tokens can get you a plethora of valuable rewards like dice, different sticker packs, and even a Wild Sticker. So if you’re close to hitting your next milestone with a partner, try to push a little harder and complete it before time runs out.
On the other hand, if you have any tokens left after the Gingerbread Partners event ends on Dec 29, don’t worry because they won’t go to waste. Those leftover tokens will automatically convert into cash. The exact amount you get depends on your board level in Monopoly GO, and you can use it to upgrade your landmarks.
Cash is important if you want to level up your boards in Monopoly GO. Every board comes with five landmarks, and each landmark needs six upgrades to be fully complete. To move to the next board, you have to max out all the landmarks in your city.
