Space Marine 2's Siege Mode pits players against endless hordes of xenos and heretics, testing their skill and coordination for a shot at getting some hefty rewards. They won't be alone, however, as soldiers of the Imperial Guard and their fellow Space Marines stand ready to provide support.

Siege Mode will test both your skills and build. The dynamics here are a little different from Space Marine 2's Operations mode, and if you use the wrong perk or weapon, you could end up with a failed run. Here are builds for each of the classes in the game to help you get a better feel for what to use in Siege mode.

The Tactical Marine's playstyle in Space Marine 2 Siege Mode shifts heavily towards dealing with Extremis and Terminus enemies. These are often the biggest threats in a fight, and in the later waves of a match, triple boss spawns are always going to be a problem. To help with that, this build bumps Auspex Scan's damage boost to the max, and it also periodically recharges grenades thanks to the Secure Stockpile perk.

As for Tactical Marine weapons, players can take the Plasma Incinerator for maximum boss damage, or the Heavy Bolt Rifle for decent horde clear and damage against Majoris and Extremis enemies. Take the Plasma Pistol and Chainsword as your secondary and melee weapons, and focus on killing the strongest enemies first.

Look for Krak Grenades or Melta Bombs as soon as possible. The latter are especially strong in Siege Mode.

Commendation

This Assault Marine build for Space Marine 2 Siege Mode is all about using the jump pack for devastating dive bombs and perfect dodges. You'll be able to dodge constantly with the jump pack using this build, and by doing so, you'll be using Gun Strike often while giving yourself some powerful offensive buffs.

The Power Fist is the preferred melee weapon for this build. It is very strong against Majoris-rank enemies and above, and when paired with the Inferno Pistol, you'll have a solution for both hordes and powerful targets.

The Thunder Hammer is a great option for dodge builds too, though the Power Fist tends to better all-around.

Restoration

The Vanguard class in Space Marine 2 is deceptively tanky with its damage resistance and health restoration perks. This build focuses on getting into the thick of combat and staying there until all enemies are dead. The health restoration and ranged damage resistance perks will keep you alive as you tear through enemies.

The Melta Rifle and Bolt Carbine are both great at dealing with Majoris threats and higher, though the latter is much better at killing bosses. Pick whichever you fancy more.

Much like the Vanguard, the Bulwark has amazing staying power in a fight. This build is designed to help players survive for as long as possible while also providing team support through Rejuvenating Effect's revive and all the bonuses one would expect from Bulwark's banner. Shield Bash perks gives players excellent crowd control and area damage too.

The Plasma Pistol and Power Sword are arguably the best weapons for the Bulwark in Space Marine 2 because of their sheer versatility. Although, the Power Fist is a good choice too if you prefer its playstyle.

This Sniper build, like the one for Operations mode, is designed for quick eliminations of priority targets. The perks here are all about using Camo Cloak as often as possible so you can line up your shots and gain powerful buffs. It also uses perks that boost melee and grenade damage to help the Sniper deal with more threats in more ways.

For weapons, the Las Fusil is your best option for dealing massive burst damage. If you don't like how slow the sniper rifles feel, the Stalker Bolt Carbine is a great alternative that can deal excellent headshot damage without being sluggish. Also, as mentioned earlier, the Bolt Carbine is great at shredding targets, so consider using that if you'd much rather have better close-range damage.

The Heavy is an incredibly tanky class, and this build aims to maximize both its survivability and damage output. This should let players absorb insane amounts of damage, which is very helpful during those triple boss waves and any wave where there are tons of Majoris enemies stacked up together.

For weapons, either the Multi-Melta or Heavy Plasma Incinerator will do. The former is great for aggressive, close-range playstyles, while the other is more about bombardment and one-shots. Bring a Plasma Pistol or Heavy Bolt Pistol as a backup weapon, and when the crowds get too rowdy, use your Stomp to give yourself some breathing room.
