The first season has several memorable hallmarks from any good TV show, including a courageous main character, some quirky side players, a mystery that needs solving, and fun, creepy, and entertaining setting. Fans are looking forward to seeing Lady Gaga in Wednesday season 2 and continuing with Wednesday's unique journey.

The Netflix show became instantly popular and now that the second season is on its way, fans are curious about whether there could be a third season. Could the Goth character's story continue for at least one more season? If there is a Wednesday season 3, then perhaps this storyline could be explored.

Wednesday Season 3 Should Be Made And Here's A Potential Plot IdeaIn a recent interview with Collider, Jenna Ortega talked about aWednesday season 2 episode being inspired by slasher movies. She also said that while Wednesday season 3 isn't official, the writers are thinking about it. She said:

“We haven't gotten an official thumbs up or anything like that, but I know that the writers are… With a show like that, you kind of want to get ahead of the game. So, I think that they're kind of messing around and throwing out ideas.”

It would be a shame for Wednesday Addams's journey to end with the second season as she's such an intelligent, unique, and darkly funny character. It would also be disappointing if the show were canceled since it's a perfect vehicle for Jenna Ortega's talent, which she has also showcased on TV shows such as the dark thriller You and in several compelling horror movies.

Wednesday season 3 should be centered around a different investigation or mystery and switch up the show's main location. Perhaps Wednesday decides to look into her family background for a school project, which could bring her to a new setting. It would be fun to see this Goth character travel to New York City where she could get lost in a crowd and enjoy city life. Maybe the third season would take place in the summer, which would give the characters the chance to spend time somewhere besides the fascinating school Nevermore Academy. Since Wednesday explores a bit of her history in the first season, it would make sense if she wanted to go even further.

Perhaps the identity of the season 2 stalker will inform what happens in the third season. For example, if Wednesday knows her stalker, that could open up a new can of worms. Maybe Wednesday wants to get revenge on her stalker. The mystery of a missing character could be the main plot and Wednesday getting even could be the B plot. Since the first and second seasons focus on a mystery, there's no reason why subsequent seasons can't follow the same compelling formula.

Although there is a concern that the second season has a large cast, Wednesday season 3 could be a great opportunity to include even more members of the Addams Family. Fans have fond memories and nostalgic feelings toward these iconic characters since they break the mold and don't act like most families. There's no reason not to include all of them, especially if Wednesday has a third or even a fourth season.

Wednesday Season 2 Will Arrive On Netflix In 2025

Although there is no release date for Wednesday season 2, fans know they will get to watch the new episodes at some point in 2025.

Since the Duffer Brothers confirmed Stranger Things season 5 will come out in 2025, it's easy to imagine there will be a few months between the releases of Stranger Things season 5 and Wednesday season 2. If the final season of Stranger Things comes out in the summer of 2025, then perhaps Wednesday will arrive on the streaming service in fall 2025. However, there are no details at the time of this writing, and fans can only guess about when it will arrive. Since Wednesday season 1 premiered in November 2022, it would be fun if the second season was available in October or November 2025 since fans enjoy watching creepy stories in the cold fall months. It would be the perfect time to catch up with Wednesday Addams and learn more about the person spying on her. But whenever Wednesday season 2 comes out, viewers will be happy to binge-watch.
