- Activision announced support for Warzone Mobile is ending on May 18, 2025.
- Exclusive "Keep" skins obtained in the mobile version of the game cannot be used in Warzone or Black Ops 6.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile players are calling for publisher Activision to allow them to transfer their exclusive skins to the console and PC version of the game. The request from players comes as Activision announced it would be ending support for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile from May 18, with the title set to be removed from the Google Play Store and iOS App Store just one year after its worldwide launch.
On May 16, Activision shocked players by revealing that it would be winding down support for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The mobile title launched for iOS and Android devices on March 21, 2024, but just fourteen months later, the studio has revealed that it failed to meet expectations. While servers for the title will remain operational for the time being, a statement from Activision confirms that players will no longer be able to spend real currency in the mobile game, but existing COD Points can continue to be used in the in-game store. Those looking to keep hold of Warzone Mobile will have until Sunday, May 18, 2025, to download the title before it is removed from the relevant storefronts.

Warzone Mobile Fans Call for Exclusive Skins to Be Transferred
Almost immediately after Activision announced the bad news, fans began requesting that the studio allow players to transfer their exclusive Warzone Mobile skins to the main game. Unlike Warzone and Black Ops 6, Warzone Mobile includes a feature known as the "Keep." This feature allowed players to spend their COD Points to purchase a turn at the Keep to earn various in-game rewards. Each cosmetic item in the Keep has a different rarity and probability of being granted to the player, with skins often having a 1% chance of being awarded. With various skins now exclusive to the mobile version of Warzone, fans are pleading with Activision to allow them to be transferred to the console and PC version.
"What about all the Keep stuff," one user questioned, while another said, "Can we at least have these Keep operators on console/PC?" Many other players echoed similar comments, with one fan stating that it would be "awesome" if the exclusive skins could be moved over as it would all go "to waste" if they stayed exclusive to Warzone Mobile.
For those who have Warzone Mobile installed after May 18, the game will remain fully operational, which means Activision is unlikely to transfer any exclusive skins to the main game, as the mobile version will still be playable. According to the studio, while Warzone Mobile's servers will remain online, it will not continue to receive Call of Duty's seasonal content and new gameplay updates. Thankfully, the title will still have continued cross-progression and shared inventories from Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
While players will still be able to level up Call of Duty's Season 3 Battle Pass in Warzone Mobile, it will be the final Battle Pass that comes to the mobile version of the game. Season 4 is rumored to be kicking off later this month, with some iconic weapons set to return, but Warzone Mobile fans will have to move over to the main game on console or PC if they want to check out the new seasonal content updates.
