Warzone has over a hundred different guns and weapons to choose from and all of them can be selected as part of a loadout in the battle royale's competitive mode. With no restrictions blocking the use of the arsenal, players have a huge choice regarding loadout selection and which weapons are going to perform well in close-quarters, mid-range, and long-distance duels.

As Season 5 reaches the halfway point, the STG44 and Static-HV are the best to use in Warzone Ranked Play matches. Thanks to a variety of attachments capable of transforming the SMG and the assault rifle into unbeatable picks, this pairing is perfect for hectic close-range firefights and picking off those pesky rooftop campers from afar.

Here's a closer look at the STG44 build that's proving popular:
