Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 received its first major content update in the form of "Season 1 Reloaded." This update adds a plethora of gameplay changes and bug fixes alongside new content, such as the Chimera Assault Rifle and the all new Al Mazrah location, Building 21.

This location is new to the DMZ mode, which takes inspiration from games like Escape From Tarkov. Unfortunately, Building 21 is yet to be a confirmed location in Warzone, but players hope the developers have plans to add it soon.

Building 21 Access Keys

Warzone 2.0 SAM Site

To gain access to the building, the players must first obtain a specific access key. Luckily, there are a few methods to get it. To begin, head to one of the SAM sites found around the map and protect the location until the SAM brings down the supply drop. It's likely surrounding players will be trying to complete the same mission, so be aware of any approaching enemies.

This will fall at a random location, so players will need a vehicle to quickly traverse the map to get to this location. When players loot this location, they have a good chance of getting the key from the drop. It isn't guaranteed that the key will be in this drop every time, so players may need to have a few goes at this method.

If the player doesn't manage to complete this process in time, they can always hunt down the enemy who did. By locating the drop and finding a nearby exfil point, there is a good chance the players leaving the match here will have the key on their body. This does mean players will have to participate in a PvP gunfight, a high risk scenario in the DMZ mode.

Finally, the player must exfil with the key in their inventory. This will then be added to their collection after the game, meaning it won't be lost in combat.

Building 21 Is Missing

Warzone 2.0 Building 21 Area

Currently, Building 21 is missing from the Al Mazrah map. It's unclear as to why this may be, but fans have a few different theories as to why the new POI hasn't been located. The most likely explanation for its absence is because it's a separate location outside of Al Mazrah – similar to how the Gulag functions when players die.

It's likely players will use the access key at a specific location in Al Mazrah be transported to this separate location. This could be through a tunnel or transport vehicle. Alternatively, players may just load straight into this location as a separate mode, as long as they have previously retrieved the key from the DMZ mode.

Unfortunately, nothing is confirmed as yet. Players will have to wait for an official announcement from the developers, or find a clue in-game which leads in the right direction to finding the missing Building 21. Some of the fan base is extremely frustrated with this situation, as this new point of interest is part of the Chimera Assault Rifle unlock challenges. For players who own Modern Warfare 2, this isn't much of a problem, as there is a separate challenge involving assault rifle kills. Sadly, for the free-to-play players in Warzone, it will still be rather time-consuming to unlock this AR.

Warzone 2.0 is now available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
