Some Warzone 2 fans were heartbroken when they figured the widely-famous Call of Duty Plunder Mode was absent from the game. In previous titles, the Plunder Mode was a leveling haven with unlimited respawns, allowing one to return to the battle immediately. Gamers could easily raise their weapon levels, making the cash-centric mode a nonchalant gaming hub.
With Warzone 2 Season 3, the much-anticipated Plunder Mode returns to the platform. During the latest season launch, Activision announced the reintroduction of Plunder Mode, but the exact arrival date was still a mystery. The wait is finally over, as Plunder is officially here as of April 26. That said, here is everything one needs to know about Warzone 2's Plunder Mode.
All Plunder Mode Changes in Warzone 2 Season 3
In Plunder 2.0, teams collect money by completing tasks, finding caches, and stealing from other teams — the first team to collect $2 million wins the game. The rapid respawn system makes Plunder a highly engaging mode as players continuously re-emerge until the time runs out. But even though survival is not the main focus, one must remain vigilant as they will lose money if executed.
Participants must eliminate enemy teams to collect their cash and maintain the lead. There are multiple deposit stations across Al Mazrah; players can keep their cash safe even if one gets gunned down. Deposit balloons are also available; it lets players deposit up to 300K of their stash. The more enemies are eliminated, the more cash the opposite team collects; this is what fortifies victory.
New Events in Warzone 2 Plunder Mode
Unlike the original title's Plunder, the latest version has significant changes. New events are added to the mode, and multiple events can occur in a single match.
