The third season of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 brought with it an additional faction for the DMZ game mode, which means more missions for fans to sink their teeth into. This faction, which is literally named "REDACTED," helps ease players to some of Warzone 2 DMZ's new features while also providing some jobs that require a certain level of finesse.

The Dealmaker mission falls more into the former category, as it introduces players to the new barter mechanic in buy stations. This assignment isn't as difficult as some of the ones from previous seasons, but it can still prove to be challenging for those who aren't prepared. Like all things in DMZ, there's a fair amount of luck and fighting involved, so grab a good gun and get ready for a shootout.

Gather Items in Al Mazrah

The first step of the Dealmaker mission is to collect a gas can, electric drill, and golden skull. Players must have all three of these items in their bags in order to proceed with the next step of the assignment later on. Thankfully, only one of each of these items is required.

In Warzone 2, electric drills are very common loot items that can spawn almost anywhere players expect some sort of power tool might be. Open toolboxes and check garages, warehouses, workbenches, and other industrial or mechanical-themed areas for a shot at getting at least one of these. Starting in Season 3, electric drills may sometimes appear as actual world items on tables.

Gas cans are also fairly common. They are often found sitting on the shelves inside gas station convenience stores, though they can sometimes appear anywhere an electric drill might spawn.

Where to Find Golden Skulls in Warzone 2 DMZ

Finding golden skulls in Warzone 2 DMZ can be a little frustrating, considering how uncommon they are. These items appear in very specific and valuable locations in Al Mazrah, and even then, they aren't always guaranteed to be present. The three main sources of golden skulls are:

  • Sawah Hotel Room 302 (D-7)
  • Police stations
  • Safes

When raiding the POIs listed above, make a beeline for the orange supply caches to see if there are any golden skulls in them. Room 302 of the Sawah Hotel has a relatively high chance of having these items, but it's locked and can only be accessed by players who have the appropriate key.

Al Mazrah Police Station Locations

On the other hand, anyone can enter police stations, but these areas tend to be swarming with enemies, and the odds of running into other players here are high. The three police stations in Al Mazrah (and their map-grid locations) are:

  • Al Mazrah City (F-2)
  • Al Sa'id City (D-6)
  • Mawizeh Marshlands (G-5)

Safes are less reliable than the two sources above due to how random they can be in terms of spawn location and actual contents. Still, they're always worth cracking open if players can successfully hold their own against attacking NPCs. At the very least, the possible cash rewards from opening a safe make the effort worthwhile.

One new way to get a guaranteed golden skull is to kill the Scavenger. This NPC will spawn near places where other players have recently died. Hunt down other teams and force the Scavenger to appear, then take him and his guards out for a free skull.

After finding all the requested items, players need to go to a buy station and trade them all in for a Secure Backpack. The mission will automatically mark itself as complete afterward.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
