Warhammer Skulls is an annual showcase dedicated to Warhammer video games that Games Workshop has been hosting since 2017. Originally called Skulls for the Skull Throne, the event was rebranded to its current name in 2021. It typically takes place in late May, early June, or spans both, as it runs over multiple days.

Continuing this trend, Games Workshop announced the ninth iteration of its festival for May 22. As is tradition, the event will kick off with an extensive showcase, which is scheduled to start at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 5pm BST. Nine Warhammer games spanning a wide variety of genres are confirmed to be featured at the Warhammer Skulls 2025 showcase. These include Fatshark's first-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2, an upcoming turn-based strategy by Bulwark Studios.

Saber Interactive's critically acclaimed shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will also be featured at the upcoming event, together with Total War: Warhammer 3, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus. Ditto for Everguild's CCG Warhammer 40,000 Warpforge and Black Lab's turn-based strategy Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector.

Warhammer Skulls 2025 will be hosted by English actor Rahul Kohli of the Midnight Mass fame, who's also known for portraying Malum Caedo in Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. This will mark the third consecutive year that Kohli hosted the annual showcase. In a prepared statement, the actor called Warhammer Skulls the kind of festival he'd be tuning into if he wasn't hosting it, promising fans "one hell of a show." The opening showcase of Warhammer Skulls will be streamed on Twitch.

May 22 Is Also Bringing Warhammer Sales and Deals

As was the case in previous years, Games Workshop will be celebrating Warhammer Skulls 2025 with various deals. Its upcoming promotion will include discounts of up to 90% on select Warhammer titles and DLCs, as well as other products based on the iconic franchise. Some free updates are in the works as well, though the exact games set to receive them are yet to be announced. As for the annual deals, the upcoming sale is promised to span all major platforms, including Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, as well as Xbox and PlayStation storefronts.
