Gold Edition Details For Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2

The Gold Edition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 costs $89.99, which is a $30 increase from the Standard Edition. However, this price increase comes with a substantial amount of additional content. Gold Edition owners will be able to access the game four days before the official release date. While Standard Edition owners wait until September 9 to start playing, Gold Edition players will gain access on September 5.

The main draw of the Gold Edition is the inclusion of the Season Pass. This pass grants players access to all cosmetic items released in Year 1, which will include four seasons. Players will receive various Champion Packs, Cosmetic Packs, and Weapon Skin Packs.

All gameplay additions will be free for all game owners, including those who purchase the Standard Edition.

The Ultra Edition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 costs $99.99 ($10 more than the Gold Edition) and includes everything from the prior edition. This means players will receive both the four-day early access and the Season Pass. As mentioned above, neither the Gold nor the Ultra Edition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 feature any single-player content. In fact, all gameplay additions, such as PvE missions, PvP game modes, and new enemy types, will be free for all game owners, including those with the Standard Edition.

The Gold and Ultra Editions offer unique cosmetic items to bling up both characters and weapons. Whether these extras are worth the cost largely depends on the player's preferences.

If you’re not interested in cosmetic upgrades, these special editions might not be worth it for you.
If you enjoy having your in-game appearance as stylish as possible, the additional premium could be worthwhile.

Also, a full-fledged AAA title featuring a robust single-player campaign, co-op mode, and multiplayer isn’t as common as it once was. If you want to support the developers for their efforts in creating such an ambitious game, the special editions might be worth considering, as you get something extra out of it as well.
