Based on what this first Twitch drop campaign has to offer, this may be a sign of what future Twitch drops will offer later down the road.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2’s First Wave of Twitch Drops Explained
Currently, there are four unique Twitch drop rewards celebrating the release period of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. These rewards are cosmetics that players can use to customize the appearance of their Space Marines’ weapons, and they won’t provide any in-game advantages. Still though, this first wave of Twitch drops is an easy way for players to get a headstart on unlocking some in-game currency and customization options, most of which are free to claim with no purchase necessary.
- Auto Bolter Skin
- Bolt Pistol Skin
- Chain Sword Skin
- Gauntlet Skin
- 150 requisition Points
Players can also earn additional in-game rewards by linking their PROS and Twitch accounts, which is part of the process for how to earn Space Marine 2’s Twitch drops.
Between the different character classes in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 that will be available at launch, some weapons are only available on certain classes, meaning that some of the rewards from this first wave of Twitch drops can’t be used by every character class. For example, in the case of the Heavy, the only weapon skin from this wave of Twitch drops that players will be able to use for this character class is the Bolt Pistol skin.
By default, character classes only have access to certain weapons, but additional weapons can be equipped when found within missions in Space Marine 2.
Why Future Twitch Drops for Warhammer 40K: Space Marines 2 Should Focus on Armor Customizations
Given the restrictions that naturally come with introducing weapon skins, going forward, players can likely expect future Twitch drop campaigns for Space Marine 2 to feature armor customizations since these are more universally interchangeable between the different character classes. In some cases, certain armor and armor customization unlocks will even be shared across all the character classes.
Not to mention, with this first round of Twitch drops focusing on weapon customizations for the Emporer’s Angels, it would make sense for future Twitch drops to offer the armor counterparts of this Astartes Chapter in Space Marine 2. This way, players can flaunt the complete set of the Emporer’s Angels with matching weapons and armor.
The amount of character customization options that players will have access to in Space Marine 2 is massive, and it will only continue to grow throughout Space Marine 2’s post-launch updates and DLC. So, although there haven’t been any plans for future Twitch drops confirmed yet, this first wave is likely only the tip of the iceberg for what players can expect for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s future.
