The main campaign of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 isn’t particularly long, as some critics have noted, but it’s not disrespectfully short either. A standard playthrough of the campaign took us around 10 hours. However, if you take the time to explore each level and collect all the in-game collectibles, such as data slates, you can likely add another hour or two to your total playtime. In general, players can expect,

10 hours for a normal playthrough.
12 hours with exploration and collectibles.

A 12-hour campaign for a $60 game, which also includes a full-fledged multiplayer mode and a co-op mode, is a fair deal. Additionally, playing on harder difficulties can further extend the playtime, though that largely depends on each player’s skill level.

A future update during Season 2 will introduce Lethal Difficulty, offering you the chance to test your skills in the campaign once again.

Operations is the co-op mode in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, allowing you to team up with two friends.
