The Isleweaver update in Warframe introduced Oraxia, a spider-themed Warframe with plenty of tricks up her sleeve. Oraxia can instantly kill targets, spawn hordes of little spiderlings, and spread enough Toxic damage around to make even the toughest of enemies reel.
There's a lot going on in Oraxia's kit, and while she's fairly easy to play, you'll need to take advantage of the many interactions her abilities has with Warframe's mods, Arcanes, and weapons in order to truly maximize her potential. Here's a gun-focused Oraxia build that exploits a number of synergies she has with different pieces of equipment.

Best Oraxia Build in Warframe
This build focuses on improving Oraxia's ranged damage through her abilities and a few mods that can supercharge her damage output. Warframe's Helminth augmentation system can make her much stronger than usual, but for simplicity's sake, we'll be keeping things vanilla for now.

Always use better or upgraded versions of mods whenever possible.
Out of all these mods, prioritize getting Arcane Continuity and Equilibrium. The former causes all Toxin procs from you abilities to also proc Corrosive — this is a very useful effect to have when fighting heavily-armored enemies. Meanwhile, Equilibrium will solve all of your health and energy issues, as Oraxia's Mercy's Kiss ability will always spawn Health Orbs if it kills an enemy.
The rest of the mods are there for general stat increases. Ability Strength scales up the stats you get from Silken Stride, while Ability Range and Duration let you cover larger areas with Webbed Embrace for longer.
Arcanes
Arcane Crepuscular is great for any Warframe that can go invisible. Oraxia can vanish from sight just by latching onto a wall, so we might as well get extra crit damage by doing so.
Players can use any other Arcane for their second slot. Arcane Arachne does synergize with the whole wall-latching playstyle, but keep in mind that the bonus damage it provides is additive, not multiplicative.
Best Weapons for Oraxia
Any weapon with a high critical chance is good with the Oraxia build above, though one shouldn't ignore status-based builds with Condition Overload/Galvanized mods. The Sobek Shotgun can be equipped with the Acid Shells mod, which will let players deal massive AOE damage when killing enemies, since the mod synergizes with Silken Stride on-kill explosions.
It's also worth mentioning that Impact procs will increase the instant kill threshold for Mercy's Kiss. Weapons that can proc Impact fast will let you execute enemies even if they still have plenty of health left.
Oraxia's signature Scyotid secondary weapon is very good with her, as it can group enemies up for Silken Stride's explosions.
How to Play Oraxia
Oraxia is a very versatile Warframe that can excel in many different mission types. She can lock down and debuff enemies in large areas with Webbed Embrace, spawn hordes of Scuttlers that can distract enemies, and instantly kill tough targets like Eximius units and Lich minions through Mercy's Kiss. Also, the Toxin explosions caused by Silken Stride gives her excellent AOE damage.
You can play Oraxia as a regular, upfront fighter, or as a stealthy Warframe that's constantly invisible. Whatever playstyle you choose, keep the following things in mind:
- For maximum effectiveness, always have Silken Stride active.
- Silken Stride replaces Oraxia's dodge with a web sling move that lets her rapidly zip toward a target location.
- While in Silken Strike, Oraxia cannot be knocked down, and she is immune to Status Effects.
- Mercy's Kiss will instantly kill targets that have a symbol over their head.
- The kill threshold of Mercy's Kiss gets higher based on how many Impact procs a target has received recently.
- With the Equilibrium mod, you'll be able to spam Mercy's Kiss thanks to the Health/Energy Orb spawns.
- Scuttlers spawned by Widow's Brood inflict Impact procs.
- You can have up to three Webbed Embrace fields at a time.
- Webbed Embrace makes enemies vulnerable to damage and inflicts Toxin, which means it can strip armor if used with Archon Continuity.
