Two new secret characters were added to Vampire Survivors with the release of patch 0.7.2. Those characters are a werewolf named Minnah Mannarah and a ghost named Smith IV, and many players will be interested in unlocking both of them. Fortunately, it is not extremely difficult to obtain Smith and Minnah in Vampire Survivors, though fans will need to fulfill some prerequisites before they attempt to unlock these secret characters.
Vampire Survivors: How to Unlock Smith IV
In order to access Smith IV, players must first unlock Exdash and Toastie, two secret characters. Fans can unlock Exdash by simply starting the game and typing "x-x1viiq" with no quotes as soon as they hit the start menu. Once that character has been earned, players can unlock Toastie in Vampire Survivors by defeating the Stalker or the Drowner and then pressing the down arrow key and Enter when the red ghost appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
With both of these Vampire Survivors secret characters unlocked, players are ready to earn Smith IV, and that requires some fast typing. Indeed, fans must start the game and then rush through the following steps, and the white ghost will be available on the character select screen if they are quick enough:
- Go to the start menu, type "spam", and click Start.
- Type "spam" on the character select screen, click Confirm, and click Start.
- Type "spam" on the stage select screen and click Start.
- Confirm an Arcana and type "humbug" as soon as gameplay begins.
Vampire Survivors: How to Unlock Minnah Mannarah
Players that would like to unlock Minnah Mannarah should first confirm that they have obtained the Mad Groove Arcana. For the uninitiated, this Vampire Survivors Arcana is unlocked by reaching the 31-minute mark on the Mad Forest stage, and it pulls stage items toward the character every two minutes. Fans that are having trouble surviving to that point are advised to look toward the evolutions of the Clock Lancet and Laurel, as those are very useful against the Reaper.
After unlocking the Mad Groove Arcana, players should enter the Dairy Plant stage and select it. Immediately upon loading into this level, a variety of items will be attracted to the chosen Vampire Survivors character, and fans should come into contact with the cheese wheel. This will cause a number of werewolves to spawn, and killing them, an act that may take some time, will unlock Minnah on the character select screen.
