Vampire Survivors has its first DLC offering, Legacy of the Moonspell. This expansion adds a wealth of new content to the game, and at an economical price. Among the best aspects of Legacy of the Moonspell is the collection of new weapons. Some of these weapons are so-so; however, a few of them are incredibly powerful.

The developers tried out some new ideas with these weapons. A good example is 108 Bocce. The damage of this weapon increases with a bigger difference between the character's Luck and Curse stats. The weapon ranked number one on this list is arguably the best weapon in Vampire Survivors, which makes the DLC worth getting.

7 Mirage Robe

Using the Mirage Robe to create mirror images of the character

The Mirage Robe works in a manner similar to the Shadow Pinion. This weapon leaves a mirror image of the user behind that damages enemies. There are a few key differences between the two. With the Shadow Pinion, the player needs to stay in motion for the weapon to operate at peak efficiency. The Mirage Robe, on the other hand, still works well if the player remains stationary.

At maximum level (8) the images have a chance of exploding and freezing opponents that make contact. If the player has the Attractorb, the Mirage Robe can be evolved into J'Odore. This version has mirror images that not only move, but can confuse enemies. Confused enemies wander aimlessly — this includes Red Death. Using this weapon with the Out of Bounds arcana makes it much better.

6 Four Seasons

The Four Seasons weapon creates four explosions

Four Seasons is one of those weapons that most players want to like, but ultimately admit is just an okay weapon. There are similar, and better, weapons. Four Seasons creates four explosions. The problem is that, when low-level, these explosions don't cover much area and don't do a tremendous amount of damage. The weapon's damage scales with Duration and Amount.

Evolving this weapon requires getting the Spinach and Candelabrador passive items. Since the damage is made better with Amount and Duration, this forces the player to use four of the six passive item slots to get the most out of this weapon.

5 Mille Bolle Blu

Mille Bolle Blu creates clusters of damaging bubbles

This interesting new weapon shoots a stream of bubbles at the nearest enemy. These bubbles travel a short distance, then remain on the floor for a little while. Any enemies that come into contact with these bubbles take damage. The damage could be a little better, but Mille Bolle Blu's ability to be used for zoning purposes makes it quite useful.

If the player can get the Candelabrador, Duplicator, and Empty Tome passive items, this weapon get exponentially better. The Spellbinder is required to evolve the Mille Bolle Blu into the Boo Roo Boolle, which, when maxed in level can effectively block one an entire side of the screen with bubbles.

4 Night Sword

Night Sword slashes at the nearest enemy

Night Sword is a tricky weapon to use. At low level, there isn't much of a difference between this weapon and the Victory Sword. There is a distinction though: Night Sword can retaliate against the player (meaning it's a cursed weapon). Most of the time, this retaliation isn't that bad, but if the player gets swarmed, they might discover their health is slowly being depleted despite not getting hit by the enemy.

There are some positives regarding this cursed weapon, though. The damage that it deals out is quite good, and it has a short cooldown time. With the Stone Mask passive item, the Night Sword can be evolved into the legendary Muramasa blade. Make sure to pick a secondary weapon that heals, like Bloody Tear or Soul Eater. This will help compensate for Night Sword's curse.

3 108 Bocce

108 Bocce weapon surrounds the character with orbiting balls

Players that prefer weapons like the King Bible or Vandalier will almost certainly favor this weapon. 108 Bocce causes balls to orbit around the character. Any enemy creature that comes into contact with one of these balls takes significant damage. The weapon's damage increases proportionally with the difference between Curse and Luck.

It is easier to increase Curse than Luck, but this is also a riskier path to travel. Players using 108 Bocce will want to either get the Clover passive item, or Skull O'Maniac with the Gold Ring — but not all three. 108 Bocce doesn't evolve, which is an indicator of just how strong this weapon can be.

2 Silver Wind

Silver Wind summons glowing balls of energy that can be moved by the player

Silver Wind is a sword, but functions in no way like Night Sword or Victory Sword. This weapon creates small orbs that rotate around the player in irregular patterns. The player can control the direction of this rotation by moving the character. This is surprisingly intuitive.

Enemies defeated by Silver Wind have a chance of leaving a healing heart behind. This makes Silver Wind and Night Sword an efficient duo. With the Pummarola passive item, Silver Wind can evolve into Festive Winds. The evolved form is just a more powerful version with a different color pallette, but it does lower the victim's armor rating with each strike. Silver Wind is one of the best weapons in the game.

1 Summon Night

The black walls of energy summoned by the Summon Night weapon

This is easily the best weapon in the Legacy of the Moonspell DLC, and possibly all of Vampire Survivors. It starts off a little weak, but when fully leveled and evolved, this weapon can be used solo (via the weapon limiting feature). Summon Night conjures columns of dark energy that act as damaging barriers. Initially, the player has the problem of these columns only covering the top portion of the screen. With the Candelabrador, Duplicator, and Silver Ring passive items, this weapon can cover the entire screen with damaging walls. The enemy swarms will never get close to the character once Summon Night reaches level eight.

The Duplicator is needed to evolve Summon Night into Echo Night. Echo Night functions identically to Summon Night; it's just a little more colorful. If the player focuses on improving Area, Amount, Might, Duration, and Cooldown times, this weapon soon becomes incredibly overpowered. Limit breaking this weapon makes the game too easy.

Vampire Survivors is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
