Even though systematic updates positively impact the Valorant gaming world by removing bugs and adding new content, new versions of the game are often accompanied by unpleasant problems. Probably one of the big problems that unites many online games is the inability to enter the game world due to the outdated version of the game and the problems installing the latest update.

Different servers, player locations, versions of the system you are playing on, game file corruption, and hundreds of other things can cause a Not Updating issue to appear in Valorant. Of course, you can wait or restart your computer, which will be enough to solve the problem in most cases. But if this doesn't resolve the matter, we will tell you about other methods.

The easiest way to fix the Not Updating issue in Valorant is to r estart your PC and try updating the game again. However, before restarting the system, you should go to the Windows Update tab and select Check for Updates. The lack of some Windows updates can also cause problems with VALORANT updates, so downloading the latest system version and restarting your computer will solve your problem or rule out two possible causes at once.

If the above methods do not help, you can try a few more options to solve the problem.

Enable Passive Mode for your Antivirus

It is worth noting that basic Windows protection is enough to protect you from most viruses. For this reason, few people use third-party antivirus programs. But if you use third-party software, it is worth setting Passive Mode for a while, restarting Valorant, updating it, and setting Active Mode again.
