Although V Rising is still not technically released, the game is incredibly polished. Boss fights are dynamic, the crafting system is intricate, movement is smooth, and weapons are balanced. Compared to larger titles that have been fully released, this game is more ironed out than the majority of them.

So when a glitch, bug, or exploit does manifest, it's a rare occurrence. But even these bugs can occur to the delight of the gamers. After some player exploration, gamers have found a way to tame a wolf pack and have them fight under the vampire's command. To do so, prepare to get a little creative with V Rising's coding.

Kill The Alpha Wolf

Players who are at the endgame will have no issue with killing the Alpha Wolf. Actually, most early players won't have any issue with killing the Alpha Wolf either as it is the lowest-level V Blood boss in the game. Players who farm Unsullied Hearts quickly will have this fight locked down.

The reason for needing to kill the Alpha Wolf is that he enables the vampire to use Wolf Form. For players still very new to the game, get ahold of an ideal blood type for the build being used. Also, catch him as he wanders off from the pack for a one-on-one encounter.

Taming A Wolf Pack

  • Grab the attention of wolves in vampire form.
  • Turn into a wolf.
  • Run toward opponents.

The glitch being used here is that a pack of wolves will recognize the vampire and command them to follow and attack. After turning into a wolf, the wolves will break their attack command, but the follow command is still in effect.

From here, just run into a big mob of enemies or into another V Blood. Wolves aren't the strongest enemies, but they can absorb a few hits and dish out some extra damage for those tougher encounters.
