Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, the first title set in the Dragon Ball universe from developer CyberConnect2, came out this week. An open-world action-RPG, the game pulls together several classic story arcs from previous adaptations. While the game also features hunting, farming, and fishing in the world-hub areas, the two core game-play elements of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot are definitely combat and exploration.
As players explore the world and battle their enemies, they will begin to collect Soul Emblems. These Emblems are a core part of gaining strength in the game, and can be arranged into Communities to create powerful buffs. While they're scattered throughout the game, some Emblems are easier to find than others. To help players to track them all down, here's our guide to their locations
Soul Hunting
There are dozens of Soul Emblems spread across Dragon Ball Z Kakarot's open world, and tracking them all down can be a real challenge. Below is our exhaustive list of their locations, as well as how to get them, and which point in the story they become available.
Equipping Emblems
Each of the Soul Emblems is representative of a character's innate talents, and can be equipped from the Community Boards in the main menu. Some Emblems fit better in some communities than others, so make sure to check their stats and level before placing them.
Soul Emblems are improved along with the player's relationship with the character they represent. These relationships can be boosted with gifts, which are universal, so there's no need to worry about whether it will be well-received.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
