War Funds are one of the most important things, along with Honors, that you can farm in Unicorn Overlord. The gold you receive will be used to expand your units and upgrade them, as well as purchase new items from the Armorer or recovery items from Provisioners. Overall, War Funds should be one of your main focuses in the game.
Luckily, there are more than just a few ways that you can stock up on some War Funds to level up your team. Other than just pushing through the main story, there are many side quests and routes you can take to get a ton of gold.

How to Farm War Funds in Unicorn Overlord
To pick up some War Funds in Unicorn Overlord, you'll want to complete all the main and side quests that come your way. However, there are also a few other methods you can use to stock up on War Funds more quickly without having to complete long and arduous quests.
Sell Unwanted Items
The first and easiest method you can use early in the game is by selling any unwanted items you have. You can visit any town that you've liberated, and approach the Armorer or Provisioner. From here, you can scroll down to "Sell," and if you have any items in your inventory you no longer need, you can sell them for a profit. The best things to sell are old armor and weapons that are no longer useful for you and your team, especially if you are leveling up quickly in Unicorn Ovelord.
Get The Golden Egg
The Golden Egg is a held item that you can get from completing a quest, which will increase the amount of gold you receive by 100 percent after a battle. To get the Golden Egg, start by visiting Ouvrir Harbor, and board the ship to Isle of Palevia. When you arrive, head over to Palevia Town.
Approach the townsperson at the front, where he will give you the Palevia's Escaped Chickens quest, where you'll need to find all four of his chickens. You can find the location of all four in the images above, and you'll want to approach them slowly before they run away. Then, return to the townsperson and he will give you the Golden Egg.
Complete Auxiliary Stages
While most stages cannot be repeated, meaning you'll only get one stack of War Funds from the quest, there are Auxiliary Stages that can be fought multiple times. This can allow you to repeatedly get more gold and EXP for your team. You can unlock the first Auxiliary Stage after completing The Tormented Helm, which you can find in the northern region of Cornia.
Make Deliveries
The last method you can use is completing deliveries to each town that you have control over. For example, you might have to visit Lebouge Hamlet and deliver 5 Meager Timber to get 100 gold in return. As you get more rare items for deliveries, you'll receive a lot more gold. You can find delivery items by digging in the overworld.

How to Use War Funds in Unicorn Overlord
War Funds can be used to purchase many different items, including equipment, gifts, and valuables. You can spend gold at:
- Provisioners in towns
- Armorers in towns
- The Black Market Dealer
Armorers and Provisioners can be found in any town that you have taken control of. Armorers will sell you new weapons and armor, while Provisioners can sell you items such as Healing Tonics, Smoked Nuts, and even Cut Flowers, which can be used as a gift.
As for the Black Market Dealer, you'll need to unlock this secret shop, which can be found in the eastern section of Cornia, close to the location where you freed Scarlett from her imprisonment. You'll need to complete The Black Market Trader Overworld Quest to have access to it.
