What is Renown in Unicorn Overlord

One of the many different progression currencies in the game, similar to Unicorn Overlord's Honors, Renown helps to govern how far players have come in their fight against evil. The more Renown you have, the higher rank the Liberation Army will be. This allows for the expansion of units at various forts or cities, allowing a unit to go from just two characters to the full complement of five by spending the required amount of Honors in Unicorn Overlord.

This will affect how effective your armies are at handling different threats, as a good combination of units can be very effective in all sorts of situations. But first, Renown must be earned.

How to Earn Renown Fast in Unicorn Overlord

Quest Rewards

There are going to be all sorts of missions and side quests that require players' attention, and it is wise to complete them as soon as you are able, as there will always be a Renown reward at the conclusion of things. It pays to be helpful in this world, so make sure you are not missing out.

Unicorn Overlord Town

Town Deliveries

That sense of charity should extend to restoring the various towns using materials as well. After completing the initial set of deliveries that allows a town to be returned to its former luster, a Renown reward will be given as well. The additional Honors gained from the act will be helpful.

Combat

The most reliable and common way to gain Renown is to constantly engage in combat, with your performance ultimately determining just how much Renown you will get at the end. Defeating more enemies, completing side objectives, capturing more fortifications, and doing it quickly leads to the best results.

Unicorn Overlord Combat

While main missions are not that common, players are free to farm all of the auxiliary battles that can be found as Sigil Trials throughout the land. As long as you are at a comparative level, these repeatable and optional fights will give a good amount of XP and Renown for completing them. If not, you can always repeat an easier fight to get the Renown without spending too much time, giving you the room to experiment with Unicorn Overlord's team combinations as well.
