Undisputed players are finally praising developer Steel City Interactive following the game's latest update, which includes a handful of bug fixes and general gameplay improvements. Undisputed has been heavily criticized since its full launch in October 2024, with many blasting the game's punch tracking, lack of features, bugs, desync issues, and much more.
Despite being in early access for almost two years, Undisputed launched to mixed reviews last year due to a myriad of different issues. Many players blasted the "bare bones" career mode, with some even stating that the game had "taken a serious dive in quality." Unfortunately, with various bugs and gameplay problems, such as punch tracking and desync issues, running rampant for many months, the game still has mixed reviews on Steam. However, Steel City has remained committed to improving the title via new updates, and players are heavily praising the latest one.

Undisputed Fans Praise New Update
On April 24, Steel City launched a new update that not only brought Ryan Garcia back to Undisputed but also made a handful of important fixes and changes. According to the official patch notes for update 1.3.2, further improvements to punch tracking have been made, as well as fixes for issues such as animation snapping, arms becoming deformed when throwing punches, hooks and uppercuts causing unintended hit stuns, and more. Although the update introduced only a small number of improvements, they have been incredibly well received by players.
Numerous posts have appeared on the game's subreddit, as fans praise the latest Undisputed update. Reddit user Key-Wolf-1436 says they are "loving" the new update, while another said the game now "plays great." While there are still plenty of other problems that need to be addressed, such as players being presented with matchmaking issues for extended periods, Reddit user BlizzardWizard092 says that the issue with hooks and uppercuts causing unintended stuns was "one of the biggest, if not the main problem with the previous patch," and praised Steel City for addressing it so promptly.
Steel City Interactive will likely be pleased to hear that fans are finally happy with the game's latest update, especially after recent controversy surrounding Undisputed's fighter pack DLC. The latest DLC drop, known as Iron and Steel, included plenty of new fighters, including legends such as Shannon Briggs, Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko, and more. Unfortunately, with so many improvements still needed, fans believed the studio's priorities were way off. Players quickly blasted the $20 DLC as "insulting" and a "joke" due to the price point and ongoing issues with the game.
