Swinging Maestro is unlocked via a career event from the Super Creek SSR Support Card in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. If you bring Super Creek in your Support Card deck, you'll get skill hints and unlock Swinging Maestro whenever the associated event occurs.

It's an improved version of the Corner Recovery skill, so unlocking that will reduce the skill point cost of Swinging Maestro significantly. It's well worth the upgrade, though, and Swinging Maestro will basically take care of all your stamina recovery needs.

Why is Swinging Maestro So Good in Umamusume?

Swinging Maestro is the best energy recovery skill in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. That alone is enough to make it valuable, but it's also the lack of restrictions that truly makes it one of the game's best Support Card abilities. Swinging Maestro randomly recovers energy when your Umamusume is running along a corner. There are so many corners on every track — especially if you run longer distances — so it has a chance of activating for most of the race.
