Every Umamusume career begins with two Legacy racers that influence the starting stats of your trainee, and this process can make or break your run.
Builds for Air Groove in Umamusume
Air Groove is the Empress of the track, and she wants to run to victory the same as her mother. This student council vice president will run mostly Medium-length races, and she has the skills to be either a Late or Pace racer. Her unique skill favors being a Late racer, however, so this build will focus around that.

As a Late Surger, it's best to focus on her Speed and Power when building her, with enough Wit to activate her skills. If you choose to build her as Pace Chaser, you will want to focus on Stamina, Power, and Wit with a little Speed instead.

Best Cards and Skills for Air Groove
Since Air Groove will need a ton of power to get from the back of the pack to the front toward the end of the race, you will want some powerful Power support cards from Umamusume to help her through. It's a good idea to have mostly Speed and Power cards so that your three goddess inspiration gives you a boost in both stats.
