It's time to start gearing up for the Ubisoft E3 2017 press conference. Folks can tune into the live event today, June 12, starting at 1:00 PM PDT / 4:00 PM EDT. Last year, Ubisoft focused on sequels like Watch Dogs 2 and introduced a new IP, For Honor. At E3 2017, Ubisoft is showing more from its flagship franchises, and giving peeks at some all-new titles as well. Assassin's Creed: Origins

After its absence last year, the ever-popular and long-running Assassin's Creed series returns. Leaks have plagued Assassin's Creed: Origins in the weeks leading up to its announcement. A leaked preorder card spilled the beans on the next game's title and revealed the game's setting in ancient Egypt. Many of these details were confirmed at the Microsoft press conference, where the game made its world debut.

At the Ubisoft event, it's expected Assassin's Creed: Origins will be demoed for audiences.

Far Cry 5

Ubisoft has already laid the groundwork for the newest Far Cry with a teaser trailer. The company followed it up by releasing a handful of character trailers that introduced players to some of the denizens of Far Cry 5. far cry 5 characters
This time around the game is ditching a prescribed path, allowing players to forge their own. The rural American setting is also a major shift from the usual exotic locales. Arguably, the best new feature announced for Far Cry 5 is multiplayer co-op through the entire campaign.
At the conference, anticipate a new trailer. There's a chance the event will delve further into the game's story and properly introduce its antagonists as well. E3 is the perfect time to provide a more thorough look at gameplay, so keep eyes peeled for that.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Two years ago, Ubisoft introduced audiences to South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Its clever title assured fans they were getting another great South Park experience. Judging from its trailers, the sequel is doubling down on the over-the-top, risqué satire. For fans, that's a good thing.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been in development for a while, suffering a few setbacks. As a result, much of the world has gotten a good look at the game by now. But new footage surely awaits viewers at E3.

Ubisoft recently set a new release date for mid-October. Fingers crossed this one sticks.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Ubisoft outright said it wants to be the leading third-party publisher on the Nintendo Switch. That dedication has led to this very unexpected title.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will see Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Peach mixing it up with cosplaying Rabbids, all while sporting Mega Man-esque arm cannons, of course. Even weirder, it's rumored to be an RPG.

The conference will be a good time for Ubisoft to dish on Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It would certainly help the community better understand what the heck it actually is. Let's hope it's well-thought-out and not a crossover cash grab.

Just Dance

Face it, there's probably going to be a Just Dance announcement at the press event and it's probably going to be Just Dance 2018.

There's no telling if Ubisoft will stick to more of the same, or surprise audiences by unveiling something different. Perhaps they've discovered a whole new way for folks to shake their groove thing. If that's the case, consider our boogie shoes on.

New IP and Aisha T.

Thanks to the recently released Ubisoft E3 2017 lineup teaser, we know a new IP will be announced at the conference. Ubisoft has been keeping tight-lipped on the matter, so what it is is anyone's guess. Let speculation fly unabated.

Ubisoft also announced that longtime host Aisha Tyler will not be leading this year's event. Instead, the show will be hosted by the devs themselves. We saw how that strategy played out at EA's press conference, so we wish them luck with that.
