Although Twitch is notorious for drama, controversies, and more, there are plenty of more positive moments as well. Twitch streamer PotasticP's recent announcement is a perfect example of that.

While names like Alinity and Amouranth may ring a bell, Jeannie "PotasticP" Lee is much smaller, averaging about 2500 viewers per stream. Nonetheless, she announced that she was abandoning her plans to go through medical school in order to pursue Twitch streaming full time. The response was overwhelming positive, but none more so than "JimmyKibaX."

The viewer, having made a similar decision in their life, donated $1,000 to PotasticP. The shock is apparent on her face before she bursts into tears followed by a moment of silence. This goes to show that, while most of the time Twitch is a high school, there are genuine connections. Check out PotasticP's response to the donation here.

After all, that was PotasticP's reasoning: instead of eight years in medical school, she could be helping people with her social media presence. Every week in Twitch, there's something new, but a lot of it is often swept under the rug by bigger names in the industry. PotasticP may not be a big name yet, but she may also be one to watch.
