Tunic has been a highly-anticipated game ever since it was first announced. Taking direct inspiration from popular games like Dark Souls and The Legend of Zelda, Tunic should greatly appeal to fans of those franchises. Tunic is now out in the wild, and anyone interested in the game should know that they can play it without even paying full price, as it has been surprise-launched as a day one Xbox Game Pass game.
Previously, it was said that Tunic would not be available for Xbox Game Pass as a day one game, though it seems those plans have changed. Tunic is available now for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to check out, despite the fact that the game was not mentioned in Microsoft's list of new Xbox Game Pass for March 2022. Regardless, it seems that Tunic is going to be a huge "get" for Xbox Game Pass, if early reviews are any indication.
Tunic reviews have been mostly positive so far, with many publications speaking highly of the game and awarding it high scores. At the time of this writing, Tunic has an impressive 86 aggregate score on OpenCritic, making it one of the highest-rated new game releases of the year in the process. Considering this, Xbox Game Pass subscribers may want to put it at the top of their list and see what all the fuss is about as soon as possible.

In the meantime, Tunic is just one of many new games available on Xbox Game Pass in March 2022. Besides Tunic, there are five other games set to join Microsoft's popular subscription service in the weeks ahead, with snowboarding game Shredders launching March 17, A Memoir Blue releasing March 24, Norco hitting PC Game Pass on March 24, the console version of Crusader Kings 3 launching March 29, and Weird West releasing March 31.
