Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Puzzle Piece 1

The first puzzle piece in Trapped in Time can be obtained before you even touch the ground. When you fly into the stage on your ship, smack the first green box on the right and then the stack of two boxes on the left to earn some coins.

After, you'll spot a yellow snake crawling along the dunes. You need to make sure you fly right into the snake. If you mess it up, you can restart the stage and try again. Once you hit the snake, the puzzle piece will appear before you.

Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Bot 1

When you first get to the floating alien monster with the guitar, defeat it and the nearby enemies, and then use your chicken booster power to pull the handle.

After, you'll see another waterfall of sand behind a purple monster. Boost up on the platform and pull the handle to fall inside the cage with the trapped bot.

Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Puzzle Piece 2

After passing that giant bottle of blue liquid, you'll reach a new checkpoint. Look to the left to find a lone enemy in a little crevice. Defeat it to find some pullable wires.

Pull the wires, and you'll get one of those flowers that lets you gain massive air. Use that with your rocket boost to get to the top of the platform the enemy was underneath. You'll find the second puzzle piece entrapped in the bottle.

Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Bot 2

In the same area as the second puzzle piece, walk over to the right side to find a handle that can be pulled using your chicken boost power. This will rip the plate off the hole, but you can see a hidden bot if you look inside.

Act like you are about to walk off the side of the level, away from the hole, and you'll see a platform down below to walk on.

Go down there, and enemies will pop out of the sand waterfall. Go inside the cave to find the second hidden bot (the Dream Chaser) in Trapped in Time.

Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Bot 3

Once you reach the checkpoint in the area with the purple poison goo and the moving blocks, jump on top of the first block on your path and pull the handle with your boost power. The third Bot will appear after destroying it.

Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Bot 4

When you get to the part where you make a bridge by pulling a stone rock out of the goo, walk over to the right instead and platform your way through the moving blocks to reach the Desert Wanderer Bot from a video game called 'Journey.'

Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Bot 5

Once you pass over the stone bridge you knocked down, two snake enemies will be near an egg. Kill the enemies, and a shiny blue spot will appear on the floor. Use your charged spinning attack on it to find a hidden area with the fifth secret Bot.

Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Puzzle Piece 3

After breaking the egg and reaching the next checkpoint, you'll have to use your spinning move on the robot to make some platforms float. You'll then find another checkpoint with a bunch of bells near it.

Break the glass that the bells are on with your laser beam to find the third hidden puzzle piece in the area below the checkpoint.

Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Bot 6

After you make it to the second checkpoint 'outside,' look underneath the tree on the left to find a Bot coming out of a hole. This one is very difficult to miss.

Astro Bot - Trapped in Time Bot 7

You can finally complete the stage once you reach the top of the hourglass. However, before you stand in the completion zone, look up to find a flying bird carrying a robot. Use your booster to try and reach it and smack the bot out of the bird's clutches.
