Towers of Aghasba players will find Mushroom Cap super useful for completing all sorts of tasks like building structures, feeding critters, and cooking tasty recipes. Doing these tasks helps you progress in the game and pick up some extra resources along the way.

However, finding Mushroom Cap can be hard for some players since it doesn’t grow naturally in the wild, on farms, or even in special Crop Plots. Check out this guide to learn how to get Mushroom Cap in Towers of Aghasba.

Where To Find Mushroom Cap In Towers of Aghasba

The Mushroom Cap can be found by harvesting Big Cap and Bushroom in Towers of Aghasba. While both of these plants give a small amount of Mushroom Caps, the best way to gather more is by planting Fungi Spore (a seed dropped by Big Cap and Bushroom) anywhere in the game. To begin, you’ll first need to set up an ecosystem on the island. After establishing the first village, interact with Pawel, who will give you a Temperate Colossal Seed. Plant this seed to grow the King Tree and begin reviving the withered island to its former glory.

The King Tree has three tiers, but thankfully, you don’t need to complete all of them to start collecting Mushroom Caps. Once the King Tree gets big enough, you’ll be able to grow Big Cap and Bushroom there.

How to Get A Big Cap In Towers of Aghasba

To find Big Cap, plant a Temperate Seed or Fungi Spore anywhere in the ecosystem. For Temperate Seeds, the spawn is random, so you may need to plant several seeds spotting one sprouting from the ground. Thankfully, the Colossal King Tree produces plenty of Temperate Seeds every minute, so you’ll always have a steady supply. If you're far from the King Tree, you can make Temperate Seeds by converting Common Seeds, Tropical Seeds, or Arid Seeds in the Pollination Pod. Alternatively, you can plant a Fungi Spore anywhere, which will have a higher chance of producing a Big Cap or Mushroom Cap-wielding plant.

After planting a Temperate Seed by selecting the 'Equip' option in your inventory, it takes about 20 minutes for the Big Cap to fully mature (you can also use Fertilizer to speed up the process). Once it’s grown, harvest it using a Stone Shovel. Each Big Cap gives you one to two Mushroom Caps.

Bushroom is another plant that gives you Mushroom Caps, but to grow it, you’ll need a Fungi Spore. Initially, you can get Fungi Spores by collecting Big Caps in the game. Once you have a Fungi Spore, plant it on the ground and wait for about 20 minutes for the Bushroom to completely grow. After that, use the Stone Shovel to gather Mushroom Caps from it. Occasionally, planting Fungi Spores may also yield a Big Cap or other plants that provide you with a good number of Mushroom Caps.

How To Use Mushroom Cap In Towers of Aghasba

Mushroom Caps are important for cooking recipes like the Meat Skewer – a dish that restores health and doubles as a building material for repairing Lutoro Bridge. In some cases, players may need to prepare a Nutritious Salad instead to fix the broken bridge leading to the mainland if they have taken on the quest since the November 24, 2024 update. You can also eat Mushroom Cap raw to regain major health or toss it in front of creatures like Juvor to get other items, such as Dung.
