The latest report details the top 20 best-selling games in July, with several world-renowned franchises like Call of Duty, UFC, and Tekken all charting. However, this list also includes a few unexpected titles, with Nintendo making the list on multiple occasions.

The summer of 2024 has undoubtedly been an incredible time for the video game industry, with gamers getting updates on a variety of exciting projects. Fans recently got a new look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the latest entry in Activision's decades-spanning FPS series. Fans also recently got a look at Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a first-party game developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda. These upcoming titles will certainly dominate the market once they are released later this year, but this summer has already been big for quite a few titles, with a newly compiled list revealing what the top 20 games were during the month of July.

These new sales numbers come from Circana executive director Mat Piscatella, with the top 20 games for July 2024 including some big names. The top two spots are both sports games, with number two going to EA Sports MVP Bundle, a package that includes both Madden NFL 25 and the game that now holds the title of July's best-selling game: EA Sports College Football 25. This latest entry in EA's highly popular NCAA series is the first college football game released since 2013, ensuring College Football 25's return this summer would make a rather large splash.

The Crew: Motorfest comes in at the number 19 spot, which is followed by Rainbow Six: Siege, UFC 5, and Microsoft's popular pirating adventure Sea of Thieves.
