How to Get the Gold Medal in Rio (THPS3)

In order to get the gold medal during the Rio competition, players will need to score as high as possible while avoiding bails, as bailing will deduct points from the judges. Players should aim for a total score of over 100,000, and they will have 60 seconds to pull this off. Rio is a track with plenty of rails and ramps, so use plenty of combos with connecting flips, tricks, and grinds to get the highest score possible in each round to score 90+ with the judges. If players get 90+ in two Heats (runs) then they will win the gold medal. The video above shows an example of winning the competition.

How to Get All Stat Points in Rio

There are 3 Stat Points players can get in the Rio map, so it's best to ignore the competition rules and instead dedicate some time to collecting each of these. The video above showcases how to easily get all 3, but the descriptions below will provide players with a detailed explanation of each:

Stat Point #1 - Take a left out of spawn and boneless off of the ramp to then grind on the wires, where a Stat Point awaits on the left wire track.
Stat Point #2 - Head forward from spawn, where in the central skate park area is a Stat Point that players can get by using a boneless trick.
Stat Point #3 - From spawn, head forward and look to the right, where a grind rail will hold yet another Stat Point to claim.

How to Get All Secret Cash in Rio

There are 3 Cash stacks that players can grab in Rio, and each of them provides $1,000 for players to spend in the store and the secret shop for new cosmetics. The video above shows the location of each, but here's a detailed look below:

Cash #1 - From the spawn, take an immediate left and boneless up as high as possible from the ramp with the Parque De Skate graffiti.
Cash #2 - By the ramp with the Brazil flag at the back of the map, build speed and boneless off of the connecting ramp to get enough height to grab the cash stack in the air.
Cash #3 - From spawn, take an immediate right and boneless off of the ramp by the tree to get the mid-air Cash.

How to Get the IG Badge in Rio

The IG Badge can be found by going forward from spawn, where on the right path of a ramp players can jump up and grind on a rail found on the right side, where the IG Badge sits on a wooden beam that can be jumped to from the grind rail.

How to Get the Hidden Deck in Rio

There's a Hidden Deck in Rio that can be found by taking a left into the alleyway from spawn, where players can crash through the wooden boards to enter a secret skate rink. Inside the rink's bowl, jump as high as possible on the north ramp to land on the Hidden Deck.
