Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Deserves More Praise

Toilet-bound Hanako-kun is based on the manga of the same name written by Iro and illustrated by Aida. It began serialization in the Monthly GFantasy magazine in June 2014. So far, it has released 20 volumes and more are likely to follow. Toilet-bound Hanako-kun's sales numbers are rather impressive. According to reports, it has sold more than 8 million copies, which is unquestionably a solid return.

Toilet-bound Hanako-kun's story might feel simple at first, but with every passing chapter, it becomes more layered. The characters in the manga are handled well, especially the main characters, whose complex backstories make them more appealing to the readers. Toilet-bound Hanako-kun may not have a lot of action scenes, but its story and characters more than make up for it.

Toilet-bound Hanako-kun is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
