It's a great time to be a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as 2022 gives players a couple of games to play through. While Konami prepares its own compellation of games inside the TMNT: Cowabunga Collection, which features 13 different games including the popular Tournament Fighters titles, fans have been able to check out the latest game from Dotemu and Tribute Games.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is a love letter to the classic co-op beat-em-up style games from the 8-bit and 16-bit eras. Taking inspiration from titles like Turtles in Time, TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is chock-full of fan service and callbacks with tons of villains to face off against like Bebop and Rocksteady, iconic levels to battle through, and even gameplay moments such as throwing foot soldiers at the screen.

However, Tribute Games has even included characters that can be unlocked including Irma and the Punk Frogs who then give players optional things to collect during the game's story mode. One of the first NPC characters players will come across is the Channel 6 boss, Burne Thompson, who has seemingly lost three classic headlines. Here is where to find Burne as well as his three headlines.

Where to Find Burne Thompson

Of all the NPC characters, Burne is one of the easiest to find. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge players can find him inside the very first episode when playing the game's Story Mode. After the first section of the level, players will come to an open space with the channel 6 logo on the wall and three windows, two of which have foot clan graffiti on. The door on the left appears to be moving, almost as if someone on the other side is banging on it to be left out.

As it turns out, that is exactly what is going on, so players should attack it to break it open. Doing so will reveal Burne Thompson, which then unlocks his spot on the New York City over world map. Once Episode 1 is beaten, players can visit Burne right below the first episode starting point.

Visiting him also unlocks a new special request, which tasks players with finding three classic headlines, newspapers which can be found in Episodes 1, 2, and 4. Finding them all unlocks 50 points, which is used to level up the currently selected player character.

After finding Burne, it's also likely that players may find the first classic headline as it is located towards the end of Episode 1. After entering the TV Studio portion of the level near the end, players should be on the lookout for boxes with a red Foot Clan logo on it.

The one with the Classic Headline in it can be found next to a pizza, right before the boss encounter with the classic Turtles villain Bebop. Players will find it when they start to see Verne tied up in a chair, with Krang's head and a TV camera tied to an office chair. Destroy the box to find the first classic headline.

The second headline is hidden within Episode 2. While battling through the streets of NYC, players will eventually come across a shop called TV Zone, which features plenty of Bebop propaganda, five tvs, and a Channel 6 poster with the Mutant Warthog in a chef's outfit. Right under that poster is a trash can which can be destroyed to unviel the second Classic Headline.

The final Classic Headline is hiding in Episode 4 called Rumble in the Zoo. Eventually, players will come across an area with Monkeys in the background who throw bananas at the players. At the end of this corridor, before getting to an area with alligators, players will see a magazine stand. Breaking this apart will reveal the third Classic Headline and for those who picked up the previous two, this will complete Burne's special request. After finishing the Episode, players should head back to Burne's Office to collect the 50 points.

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is available on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
