Bosch: Legacy's final season will debut with its first four episodes on March 27 and the fan's excitement is palpable, but it's also tinged with sadness because this is the end of Harry Bosch's solo stories. Having said that, it's quite possible this isn't necessarily the end for the ex-LAPD detective turned private investigator, because Titus Welliver has finally broken his silence on Bosch: Legacy's cancelation and he isn't very happy about it.
Titus Welliver's breaking of Amazon omertà is the biggest boost for the Save Bosch: Legacy campaign since it began way back in September 2024. This isn't just great news because Welliver is speaking out about the cancelation, but it's the backing he's given to the petition that is such a huge boost. Every petition to save a show needs its main stars' involvement, and the Save Bosch: Legacy movement now has the man who plays Harry Bosch. Turns out, Amazon's Money Truck doesn't buy ultimate silence after all. It'll be interesting to see how the Amazon PR experts put a brave face on this one.

Titus Welliver Is Disappointed With The Cancelation Of Bosch: Legacy And He Hasn't Given Up Hope Of Harry Bosch Getting A Proper Ending
It's a momentous day for fans of the Bosch-verse: Titus Welliver has revealed what he really thinks about Amazon canceling Bosch: Legacy. Spoiler alert: he wasn't very pleased. The Harry Bosch star appeared on Spike's Car Radio podcast and unburdened himself after months of silence:
There's a lot of stuff going on, and my only sadness or regret is that we didn’t get to, that we have this, but it’s left kind of open-ended.
Fans have been saying for over six months that the creative team were robbed of giving Harry Bosch a proper ending after the abrupt cancelation of Bosch: Legacy. Amazon claimed it was a fitting close to Harry Bosch's solo crime stories, but Welliver has now debunked this claim. He stated:
There’s a post melancholy that sets in, but then you’re excited because we had plans. There’s an abundance of Harry Bosch stories to tell, and then, sadly, we were told they wouldn’t be going any further. I feel, hopefully, in a Dream World Café we would get a movie or something like that to bring some resolution because Harry Bosch isn’t going anywhere. He doesn’t ride off into the sunset.
A feature-length Harry Bosch movie was one of the suggestions put forward by the Save Bosch: Legacy campaign members right from the start. Titus Welliver also thinks a Bosch: Legacy movie would be an appropriate way to give the legendary ex-LAPD detective a fitting ending. Welliver's first-look deal with Amazon is now looking like it could be a good thing as the only way a movie would happen is with the involvement of the streamer. Amazon has the rights to Michael Connelly's crime universe, so they essentially hold all the cards.

Amazon hasn't given any indication that they are listening to what their loyal subscribers want, but Welliver's comments heap more pressure on them to act fast. Titus Welliver has now put his name forward as a supporter of the petition to save his own show, and this is a HUGE step in the right direction. He told the podcast:
The fans, while they are excited about this season. They’re also really p****d off. A massive movement through social media, petitions, and these public letters to the heads of Amazon.
