Netflix's Tiger King series has taken the world by storm, with the show quickly becoming one of the most popular Netflix shows of all time. With Tiger King such a big hit, it's no surprise Netflix is looking to deliver more Tiger King content for its subscribers, and so it has announced a Tiger King after-show special entitled The Tiger King and I that will be hosted by Joel McHale.

Joel McHale, best known for Community and The Soup, will host the show as it plays newly-recorded interviews of various people that were featured on Tiger King. This includes John Reinke, Joshua Dial, John Finlay, Saff, Erik Cowie, and Rick Kirkman, as well as Jeff and Lauren Lowe. The Tiger King and I will premiere on Netflix beginning Sunday, April 12, so fans don't have to wait too much longer to see what the show is all about.

In the meantime, The Tiger King and I is far from the only Tiger King project that's in the works. A Tiger King scripted series starring Rob Lowe is also being discussed, as well as a different series with Kate McKinnon as Carole Baskin. A Tiger King film adaptation has also been discussed, with the titular "Tiger King" himself Joe Exotic stating that he would like either Brad Pitt or David Spade to play him in the theoretical movie.

With Tiger King  standing as one of the most-watched Netflix shows, one has to imagine that even more Tiger King content will be on the way in the near future.

The Tiger King and I will premiere on Netflix beginning April 12.
