While many quests seem straightforward when starting in Throne and Liberty, many of these can take a turn for the worse, as players realize that the steps to complete them aren't as clear as they may have thought. Whether it is due to having to defeat a massive enemy that hits harder than it should or the mission itself just not being specific on how actually to complete it, things can get tricky and make it all difficult. One of these quests is called the Snake Tongue Flower quest, and it will come to players in the eighth chapter as they explore the Sandworm Lair, Moonlight Desert, and Raging Wilds areas of the map.
It is a main quest that offers at least one benefit: when players reach this quest, they will almost certainly be at the right level to be able to complete it. This is different from side quests that come with level requirements and a need to pay attention to the level of the area they are in. However, once players have reached the Snake Tongue Flower quest, they can begin to follow it to its end, though they need to be aware of one tricky part, which this guide can help with.
How To Complete The Snake Tongue Flower Quest
The Snake Flower Tongue quest is given to players to help create a tool that the characters will use to bait and hurt the giant sandworm, Queen Bellandr. There are only two objectives that they will need to complete in order to finish this quest as well:
- Contaminate and gather Crimosa using Tentacle Desert Flower Poison at The Raging Wilds.
- Go to Moonlight Oasis and speak with the Creation Crafter Grudran.
These are sequential and will be completed in this order, so people don't need to worry about figuring out the best order to complete them.
Contaminate & Gather Crimosa
This first, and confusing, step in the quest has players going up into the Raging Wilds area of the map. The map will show a large blue circle that players will need to go into, where they can find a bunch of purple flowers littering the area that will have small icons over them.
These are the Crimosas they have to harvest; the only issue is that they can't be harvested as is. Instead, players will have to look for the numerous Tentacle Desert Flower enemies in the area and use their poison to get them to bloom. The process of doing this isn't as clear as it needs to be, but it is rather simple once players know what they're doing.
The trick is that players need to use the Tentacle Desert Flowers that are all around the area to poison them. This can be done by hitting the flower with an attack and waiting for it to launch a projectile at their character; this is what will poison them and won't hit them too hard. Once they have been poisoned, players need to go to one of the purple flowers and stand over it for a moment. After a bit of time, the flower will blossom and the fully-formed Crimosa will come out to harvest.
Now, players just need to do this for a total of four times to complete this objective.
Go To Moonlight Oasis
This step is an easy one: the player just needs to return to Moonlight Oasis where they can talk to the Creation Crafter Grudran. He will see that they have collected the Crimosas and hand over the censer that they are needed for. After the conversation has ended, the quest will be completed and players can move on to the next part of the story.
