Throne and Liberty has a special mechanic that lets players use Morphs. Players will select numerous different options for which Morphs they want to use under different circumstances. Some will be for land, some for air, and some for when players wish to dive into water. Players will also be able to unlock and buy even more of these Morphs, and some can have specific advantages over others.
While most of these Morphs will be used to traverse the game world, there are also some Morphs for specific situations. These can be found under the Special option after selecting Morph in the game’s menu.
MMORPGs That Are Perfect For Beginners
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when looking at the genre of MMORPGs, but if you don’t quite know where to start, we have you covered!
How To Change Morphs In Throne And Liberty
Open up the game menu and navigate down to the Character category. Here, you will find an option called Morph. Selecting this will open up the menu for them to select different morphs for each of the traversal options. These morphs will not be affected by the game’s stats, and will use their own separate method of becoming better through Growth Level.
Dash
While the player is moving, they can press the shift button to activate their Dash Morph. This will be pressing down on the left analog stick for players using a controller. This will cause you to morph into whichever option you have chosen as your Designated Morph under Dash. This morph can jump, and pressing the dash a second time will revert the player back to normal.
Glide
Players will be able to press the spacebar on their keyboard to jump. If you are using a controller, use the bottom face button — the X button for DualSense controllers and the A button for Xbox controllers. If you jump from a high enough point, you can press this button a second time to morph into their Designated Morph under Glide. Pressing jump while in the air will cause the Morph to expend energy to gain some height.
Swim
Whenever a player lands in a body of water, they will morph into the Designated Morph under Swim. These Swim Morphs will be able to dash, and can even jump along the surface of water using the jump button. Checking through them will show which of them can swim in lava without taking damage.
What Is Shapeshift In Throne And Liberty?
Players will notice that there is an option called Special to the right of Morph. This will give them the options of Play and Shapeshift. These can be very engaging for those who enjoy roleplaying in video games, and can be reminiscent of using a druid to wild shape in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Players will acquire new Shapeshift forms just by playing through the main story of the game. These will come in the form of the various enemies you encounter, and by becoming one of them, you will avoid them becoming aggro towards you. This can let players make their way safely through any hostile areas when they don’t feel like fighting.
Just like with other Morphs, players can select the Designate Morph button to assign which Morph they want to their Shapeshift button. Underneath this list will be an Instant Morph button to let them use any of these morphs without selecting them as the Designed Morph. Transforming into a new form can be a very exciting thing, with there being many iconic video game shapeshifters.
What Are Growth Points In Throne And Liberty?
Each morph will show that it grants a certain number of Growth Points. Players can go to the Level Up option above Dash to see their total Growth Points from all their morphs. Each time players unlock or buy a new Morph for Dash, Glide, and Swim, the number of Growth Points from that Morph will be added. At certain milestones, players will gain rewards based on the Growth Level of that Morph category.
