All characters in Throne And Liberty have the same starting point, with your build varying depending on the weapons you use, the upgrades you apply, and the stats you increase. Players are also given the ability to try out the basics of a few different builds early on, making it easier to know which path you want to go down.
One common issue all characters of any build will run into is their carry capacity, which will quickly fill up. Your storage is a great method of keeping excess items off your person, with all storage chests also being connected throughout the world. For those wanting to increase their storage capacity or carry capacity; here's how to do it.
How To Increase Storage & Carry Capacity In Throne And Liberty
Increasing your Storage and Carry Capacity is both done at the Storage Manager of any major town. They are easily identifiable on the map thanks to the chest icon that appears no matter how zoomed in or out you are. Interact with the Storage Manager to bring up your Storage and character inventory and look along the bottom of the screen for the capacities of each, with both also having a plus icon next to them.
This menu can be a little finicky on console, so utilize the Emergency Cursor Mode if necessary.
- Storage starts out with 20 slots.
- Player inventory starts with 130 slots.
Selecting the plus icon next to either will allow you to add five additional slots to each by spending Solant, the basic currency in-game. Upgrading your Storage slots will initially cost 5,000 Solant for five slots, while giving yourself five more bag slots will cost 250,000 Solant. As long as you make constant trips back to town to manage the items you pick up and put those you need in storage, the best option is to spend your Solant on the Storage upgrades first before eventually upgrading your bag capacity once you're earning a lot more money.
Throne and Liberty: How To Fish
Life Skills are one of the newest additions to Throne and Liberty, and some players might worry they come late into the game.
How To Use Storage In Throne And Liberty
To use your storage, you'll physically need to go to a Storage Manager to deposit or withdraw any items. While this is inconvenient, it's great for holding onto late-game upgrade materials you find that you know you don't need yet. Your Storage Chest will also carry over should you transfer servers in Throne And Liberty, which is helpful when claiming any items you need from the mail before transferring.
