The Walking Dead: Destinies has stealth-focused missions that require players to be quiet and avoid detection at all costs, but gamers will also encounter the exact opposite in this game. During Bloodletting, Shane reaches the school infirmary, but in order to leave the school and get back to the Greene family farm, he will have to walk through the gym. Unfortunately, he will find himself surrounded inside a gym riddled with walkers.

The Walking Dead: Destinies - Can You Save Sophia?

Sophia deserves a second chance in The Walking Dead universe, but can gamers save her in The Walking Dead: Destinies?

Whether gamers have chosen Maggie or Beth to go with Shane, they must protect him at all costs so that he can get the medical supplies back to Carl and save his life. This guide will help gamers come up with the right strategy to defend Shane from the large groups of walkers continuously getting into the school gym.

How to Protect Shane in the School Gym

During this mission, Shane will easily get overwhelmed in the gym, so walkers will easily chip away at his health. Protecting Shane won't be as difficult if the player manages their time up on the balcony and carefully takes their shots.

When gamers reach the balcony, they'll see two large boxes of ammo; these are endless ammo sources that players can use at any time during this mission. They should make sure that they grab a decent amount of ammo and that they reload their weapon before attempting to shoot any of the walkers that appear down below.

In this mission, players must shoot and reload at the right time. Otherwise, Shane might find himself being attacked while his partner is reloading their weapon. Gamers must shoot if Shane has several walkers on him, as the shot will stun them momentarily, making it possible for him to attack back and defend himself. If the player doesn't need to reload just yet, they should shoot at any walkers who wander into the gym, as this makes it harder for the walkers to create a large group that's harder to take down. However, if they're running low on bullets, they must reload while there is still a decent distance between Shane and the walkers.

Tips to Keep Shane Alive in Bloodletting

Since gamers will have to use the Sniper Rifle to shoot at the walkers down below, focusing on Hershel's skills can be quite helpful here. Here are the improvements that can be made to Sniper Rifles by unlocking Hershel's skills:

  • Sharp Shooter I: Sniper Rifle's clips hold 12 bullets
  • Sharp Shooter II: Increases Sniper Rifle damage by 50 percent
  • Sharp Shooter III: Sniper Rifle's clips hold 18 bullets

With Sharp Shooter II, a Sniper Rifle headshot will instantly take down a walker and a body shot will leave it extremely damaged, making it much easier for Shane to kill it.
