The Sims 4 For Rent expansion pack is getting its first gameplay trailer on November 16, so gamers will finally get more substantial information on what is to come. The Sims Team has always made sure to keep The Sims 4 quite active. Even now that the game has been out for nearly a decade, the team continues to keep it alive by releasing constant updates, DLC content, and free Sims Delivery Express items.

When it was revealed that The Sims 5 was being developed under the name Project Rene, many fans started to believe that this meant the devs would shift their focus away from The Sims 4. When the Growing Together expansion pack was released at the start of 2023, some players thought that the focus on elderly Sims alluded to the end of the game's life, as it would be a fitting conclusion to The Sims 4. However, this was not the case; six kits, one stuff, and one expansion pack were released after Growing Together came out. On top of this, another expansion pack will be released before the year comes to an end.

On November 2, the For Rent expansion pack was announced for The Sims 4. Many players were excited to know that they would be able to get their hands on a new expansion pack on December 7. As it turns out, gamers will be getting a gameplay trailer three weeks prior to the pack's release date. The announcement was made by the official The Sims account on Twitter, and it included a link to the video, which will premiere on November 16 at 10 AM PT.

The Sims community has only been able to gather information on what is to come by analyzing the reveal trailer and regularly checking social media. So far, fans know that they'll get access to five new Create-a-Sim traits and four new aspirations. Other than this, it's impossible to figure out much more. The gameplay trailer is bound to reveal tons of details about new activities, skills, and recipes.

Players who plan on getting this pack in the first few weeks after its release will get access to time-limited Build Mode items that will be unattainable in the future, and as if that wasn't enough to get the attention of the fans, The Sims Team usually hosts a livestream before the release of major Sims 4 expansion packs. It's likely that the gameplay trailer will reveal the date of the livestream if it does take place.
