The Sims 4: How To Go On A Romantic Date

Usually, Simmers can go on a date and complete a few tasks given to them by The Sims 4. Thanks to the Lovestruck Expansion Pack update, romantic dates have become more flexible and players choose what to do with their significant other.

It’s possible to create a date between two Sims who are dating or use Cupid’s Corner to plan a date with a complete stranger according to your own likes and dislikes. Similar to the old date, it can be completed with a bronze, silver, and gold medal.

How To Go On A Romantic Date In The Sims 4

To go on a romantic date, head to the Romance section with your significant other and choose Ask to Create a Date. Alternatively, if Simmers are not in a relationship, they can open Cupid’s Corner and choose a match, then Ask to Create a Date from the favorites tab. Next, choose the Romantic Date option and fill in a few requirements to start the date:

Invite Sims	The Host is your Sim and the Date is the Sim you asked on a date. Those who are interested in open relationships in The Sims 4, can invite a third character as a Guest.
Select Activities (a Minimum of 3)	Socialize - Be Romantic Socialize - Be Friendly Socialize - Be Funny Drinks Food Physical Intimacy Woohoo TV Star or Cloud Gaze Board Games Play Video Games Paint Reminiscing Gardening Musical Instruments Sing Save the Moment Dance Exercise Swim* Fish Socialize - Be Mean Socialize - Be Mischievous Animals* Play in Snow* Skate*
Select a Place	Any place can be selected as the date spot.

Some activities have special conditions, for example, Play in Snow requires either Seasons or Snowy Escape and Skate requires a Skating Rink from Seasons. Obviously, swimming requires a beach which is found in Sulani or Tartosa, while Animals call for any kind of pet, varying from dogs and cats to cows and chickens from Cottage Living.

As for the normal date, you can still enjoy it by using the Ask on a Date option. Players are immediately transported to the map to choose a place, and then the date will start. Unlike the Romantic Date, the normal date’s main objective will always be to Socialize with the other Sim 10 times along with other simple tasks, like Have Sims become Playful at the same time, Joke with your Date 3 Times, and Tell your Date a Story.
