The Sims 4 is an open sandbox for players to create unique Sims, tell adventurous stories, and build homes and venues. They can choose how they want their Sims to live and how long. Players can even make their Sims immortal if they wish.
There are several ways to achieve immortality in The Sims 4, with or without cheats. Players can make it permanent until they decide it's time for their Sim to age. However long players decide to keep their Sim alive, this guide has all the ways Sims can become immortal.

How to Make Sims Immortal in The Sims 4
While Sims will still be prone to inevitable accidents, such as burning, drowning, or getting struck by a meteor, players can extend their lives. This means they won't die from old age at the very least. Multiple in-game methods for immortality require things like Simoleons or Satisfaction Points.
Change the Aging Settings
Players can change the age settings in a save to change how long a Sim's life span is and if they actively age up. To do this, follow the below steps:
- Open the settings menu
- Look under "Gameplay Settings"
- Edit the Lifespan to long, normal, or shot
- Turn aging on and off for active or inactive households
Purchase a Potion of Youth
Sims can spend their Satisfaction Points on a Potion of Youth once they get enough. Satisfaction Points are earned by completing whims, Aspiration tasks, and certain social interactions. Players can keep track of their points by viewing them in the Rewards Store.
The Potion of Youth costs 1,500 Satisfaction Points. The Potion of Youth will reset a Sim at day one of their current age. Players who have difficulty getting Satisfaction Points can start a new Aspiration at any time for more manageable tasks without losing progress in previous ones. Alternatively, players can also use the sims.give_satisfaction_points cheat to add as many as they want immediately.
Make the Age-away Serum
Players who have The Sims 4: Get to Work can have their Sims join the Scientist career. Scientists can build equipment, make potions, and make tons of Simoleons while they're at it.
Sims must be at level 10 of the Scientist career to make the Age-away Serum. It works the same as the Potion of Youth and resets a Sim's current age back to the beginning stages.
Appease Death for a Second Chance
If a Sim does happen to get in an accident and die, there's a chance they can negotiate with Death. Before he takes your Sim to the afterlife, have another Sim plead with him for their life. This isn't guaranteed to sway him, but it's more successful if the Sim is Confident.
Players can also give Death "Death Flowers." Death Flowers are a rare type of plant that players can get from a seed packet if they get lucky or by grafting an Orchid with a Pomegranate.
