The Sims 4 base game is free to play and constantly updating with bug fixes, tweaks, and new content. For example, Infants were added in March 2023 as a life stage between Newborns and Toddlers.

Infants, while not as helpless as Newborns, are significantly less independent than Toddlers. The Sims 4: Growing Together DLC makes this even more so by including features like growth Milestones and Quirks. Quirks, in particular, really make Infants feel unique and alive by affecting their overall behavior.

What are Infant Quirks?

The Sims 4

Quirks are a Growing Together exclusive that adds more gameplay to Infants. Quirks are behaviors and preferences randomly assigned to infants as they grow and experience new things.

Quirks affect sleeping patterns, food preferences, social needs, and bodily functions. Sims must learn their Infant's Quirks and adjust their parenting style to fit them. This will make raising them easier if they know what things to avoid or do more of.
