The Sims 4 has many kits that are exclusively dedicated to Create-a-Sim. However, most of them focus on adding accessories and a certain style of clothes, making it possible for players to dress up their Sims according to just about any fashion preferences. So, in terms of CAS packs, there is no doubt that the game lacks DLC that focuses on makeup. This is why most players resort to downloading custom content if they want to have more makeup options in The Sims 4.
The Sims 4 Create-a-Sim Kit Tier List
The Sims 4's Create-a-Sim Kits add new clothes, accessories, and hairstyles, but some categories are in more need of additions than others.
The Essential Glam Kit, created by Crypticsim, released alongside the Grange Mudroom Kit, is here, giving players a handful of makeup palettes to play around with. This guide shows players the makeup options added to The Sims 4 with the Essential Glam Kit.
Everything Included in The Sims 4 Essential Glam Kit
The Essential Glam Kit includes 26 Create-a-Sim items, all of them makeup options. To find the Essential Glam Kit makeup, players have to enter Create-a-Sim, select their Sim's head, and then enter the Makeup menu.
Out of the 26 makeup items in the Essential Glam Kit, six are eyeshadow, five are eyeliner, three are blush, eight are lipstick, and four are face paint options. There is a wide range of makeup options, from subtle to glittery, from casual to glamorous.
The Essential Glam Kit makeup is labeled as Feminine, so if players are unable to find it, they might have the Masculine filter on.
Is the Essential Glam Kit for The Sims 4 Worth the Price?
Gamers who enjoy making Sims and households in Create-a-Sim should definitely consider getting the Essential Glam Kit, especially if they prefer to play vanilla and avoid mods. For only $4.99, they get access to all sorts of makeup with various colors and intensities, making it possible for them to express themselves through their physical appearance. What stands out in this pack is the wide range of lip gloss available in the Lips section - a great addition to players who only have access to base game makeup.
