Leveling up a Small Business in The Sims 4 isn't an easy feat; it'll take quite a while, especially earning that last Renown level. Thankfully, there are cheat codes that can help players quickly increase their business rank, unlocking perks faster.

How to Quickly Unlock Small Business Perk Points in The Sims 4

Compared to perk point systems in The Sims 4, it's much harder to obtain Small Business Perk Points in the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack because Sims are only awarded perk points when their business increases its Renown rank.

Of course, there are ways to earn more Renown during business hours, but leveling up just doesn't come by as easily as Restaurant or Retail Store Perk Points. In The Sims 4, players can have a maximum of 12 Small Business Perks. Here is how many points they will receive per level of Renown:

  • 1. Hopeful Hustler: 2 points
  • 2. Striving Startup: 2 points
  • 3. Neighborhood Gem: 2 points
  • 4. Community Staple: 3 points
  • 5. Local Legend: 3 points

There are three Business Alignments, each with its own perk per level of Renown. So, while there are 12 perks and 12 perk points to earn, gamers can't unlock everything because some perks have levels, and several perk points can be invested in them to add to their effect.

Players can increase their Renown in The Sims 4 by ensuring that they practice low prices, have plenty of activities and lectures for their customers, are friendly during business hours, and have a well-decorated business with good ambience.

The Sims 4 Small Business Perk Point Cheat Codes

If players would rather to cheat in order to quickly gain access to all Small Business Perks, here are the codes that they must insert into the cheat console in order to quickly level up their business Renown:

  • stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_SmallBusiness_Rank 200
  • stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_SmallBusiness_Rank 600
  • stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_SmallBusiness_Rank 2000
  • stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_SmallBusiness_Rank 4000
  • stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_SmallBusiness_Rank 8500

These cheats also make it clear how much Business Renown gamers need to accumulate to level up (200, 600, 2000, 4000, 8500). Alternatively, players can completely decrease their Small Business ranking with the code "stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_SmallBusiness_Rank 0".

Cheating to get Business Renown will not grant players an Alignment. Thankfully, there are also cheats for this:

  • stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_SmallBusiness_Reputation 999
  • stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_SmallBusiness_Reputation -999

A positive reputation will grant players the Virtuous Alignment, while a negative reputation will give them the Nefarious Alignment. Since this system is based on reputation, players' actions will continue to influence their Alignment, and it can even change over time. To get back to a neutral Alignment, players can input code "stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_SmallBusiness_Reputation 0" into the cheat console. Keeping things neutral prevents arguments with Sims that may be either Virtuous or Nefarious.
