One of the most important phase of a Sims life in The Sims 4 is when they're pregnant, as raising a new generation is a key part of the game. Another crucial aspect of The Sims 4 is cheating; unlike most games, in The Sims 4 it's simply a way for players to enhance their gaming experience.
The Sims 4: Every Essential Pregnancy Mod You'll Need For Your Family Gameplay
Pregnancy can be a big part of The Sims 4, but it isn't always realistic. Thankfully, that's where mods come in.
Just like any part of The Sims 4, players can cheat their way through pregnancy to speed up the process and even modify how many babies they will give birth to. This article lists the few pregnancy cheats available in The Sims 4. However, to activate them, players will have to install the All Cheats Fix mod, as pregnancy cheat codes no longer work in-game. Consequently, this also means that the codes mentioned on this list will not work on console and requires players to have this mod.
To activate cheats, players mustn't forget to open the cheat console and input the code "testingcheats on".
Updated on April 15, 2025, by Ashely Claudino: This article has been completely rewritten and turned into a list to improve fans' reading experience. It features a concise list of all the pregnancy cheats that become available in The Sims 4 once players install the All Cheats Fix mod and information on the MC Command Center mod, which gives them access to a vast array of customize settings and allows gamers to dictate pretty much any aspect of their Sims' pregnancies.
Cheat to Change Pregnancy Stage
Pick Any of the Three Trimesters
Sims will enter three trimesters while pregnant in The Sims 4. Each of these trimesters lasts a day, and since it can get boring waiting around, players might want to speed things up a little. Whether they want to skip to the part where they get leave from work or simply move it along a bit, there's no harm with getting to a more advanced trimester faster.
To change a Sim's trimester in The Sims 4, gamers must open the cheat console and input the code "sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_Trimester[#]" and replace the # with the number 1, 2, or 3.
Cheat to Go Into Labor
Skip the Waiting Part and Go Straight to the Good Stuff
If players want to skip to the very end of a pregnancy in The Sims 4, they can also induce a Sim's labor with cheats. To force a Sim to go into labor, players must open the cheat console and input this code: "sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_InLabor".
Players must be aware that forcing labor will make it so the Sim will give birth within the next few hours. They can then take them to the hospital or have the baby at home. Nevertheless, Sims will have a newborn in their arms in no time.
Cheat For Twins or Triplets in The Sims 4
Two Newborns Are Better Than One, Even Three
Whether players are doing the 100 Baby Challenge or simply want to have twins or triplets for chaotics or a more exciting storyline, they'll be happy to know that there is a cheat that lets them do it having to put too much effort into it or relying on luck.
Firstly, players have to find out their pregnant Sim's ID, which they can do by typing the code "sims.get_sim_id_by_name [FirstName] [LastName]" into the cheat console, using their pregnant Sim's information. Lastly, they need to use the "codepregnancy.force_offspring_count [Sim ID] [# of offspring]" activate the code.
MC Command Center
The Ultimate Way to Activate Pregnancy Cheats
MC Command Center is one of the most popular mods for The Sims 4, and it adds a wide range of customization to the game. This mod includes two options that are particularly important for Simmers that want to modify their Sim's pregnancies as much as possible, and that's MC Pregnancy and MC Woohoo.
If players install MC Command Center and MC Woohoo, they will be able to customize all sorts of pregnancy-related settings by accessing any computer in the game and selecting the "MC Command Center" option. Here, gamers will be able to access all sorts of cheats by visiting the MC Pregnancy tab.
