Baldur’s Gate 3 became one of the most popular video games when it was released in 2023, and it continues to be a favorite of gamers around the world today. Along with the engaging narrative and dynamic turn-based gameplay, there are an array of interesting characters in BG3.

BG3-E
Baldur's Gate 3: Must-Try Party Setups For Unique Playthrough

Party composition remains essential in Baldur's Gate 3, especially since it follows standard Dungeons & Dragons 5e rules.

Because of this popularity, it’s no surprise that there are various recreations of Baldur’s Gate 3 characters in The Sims 4 gallery. Here's a look at some of the best ones to find so that BG3 fans can start adding their favorites to their Sims file.

10 Jaheria

Created by EnchantSims

  • Packs Required: Horse Ranch, Growing Together, High School Years, Snowy Escape, Eco Living, Discover University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, Get To Work, Werewolves, My Wedding Stories, Dream Home Decorator, Realm of Magic, StrangerVille, Nifty Knitting Stuff, Luxury Party Stuff, and Simtimates Collection Kit.

First is a recreation of High Harper and potential party member Jaheira from Simmer EnchantSims (who will be making a few appearances in this list due to the various, fantastically made Baldur’s Gate 3 characters they have created and uploaded to the gallery).

Jaheira is one of the older party members in the game—as she is a returning character from the first and second Baldur’s Gate games—at around 150 years old. As an elf, she doesn’t look to be much older than her 50s though. She’s been through a lot and has aged from her experiences, but not to the point where she looks like a decrepit grandmother.

EnchantSims recreates this perfectly in this Jaheira Sim by giving her wrinkles, scars, and liver spots while still maintaining her natural beauty. Jaheira ages like a fine wine, and she deserves an accurate Sim like this one rather than one that still looks like a teenager.

9 Gale and Tara

Created by Shancunin

An image of Gale and Tara from Baldur's Gate 3 recreated in The Sims 4
  • Packs Required: Island Living, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get To Work, Vampires, Moschino Stuff, Laundry Day Stuff and Vintage Glamour Stuff

The relationship between Waterdeep’s wizarding pro, Gale, and his tressym Tara, is an adorable one in Baldur’s Gate 3, but those who play as Gale in his Origin story will see her more often. Tara was summoned by Gale when he was a child, and they have been close companions ever since, with Tara acting as an assistant of sorts to him.

This Sim—made by Shancunin—excellently recreates both Gale and Tara, with Gale taking on a more modern wardrobe rather than his flowing wizard robes. Unfortunately, Tara has been made as a regular cat, so she doesn’t have her wings, but that’s not surprising, as there are no options for winged pets in the Create a Pet system. Take note of that, Maxis. Give the people what they want.

8 Dame Aylin and Isobel Thorm

Created by RealRockyAvenue

An image of Dame Aylin and Isobel Thorm from Baldur's Gate 3 recreated in The Sims 4
  • Packs Required: For Rent, High School Years, Discover University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, City Living, Get Together, Get To Work, My Wedding Stories, Dream Home Decorator, Realm of Magic, StrangerVille, Parenthood, Vampires, Backyard Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Luxury Party Stuff, and Goth Galore Kit.

Next up are two side characters who became popular among the Baldur’s Gate 3 community thanks to their adorable romance. Dame Aylin, the Aasimar daughter of the Goddess of the Moon Selûne, and Isobel Thorm, a Selûne cleric half-elf and daughter of one of the main antagonists of the game, Ketheric Thorm, are an unlikely couple, especially when their parents are brought into the equation.

They are also the original odd couple, with Aylin being a direct and outspoken warrior and Isobel being a softer and calmer character (though she is equally strong in her abilities as a healer and protector). However, their love is undeniable, and they are one of the strongest couples in the game.

Simmer RealRockeyAvenue has recreated Aylin and Isobel excellently. From Aylin’s unearthly pale skin, glowing blue eyes, and unusual scars to Isobel’s heavy black eye makeup and shining silver hair, these Sims are the perfect addition to The Sims 4 for Baldur’s Gate 3 fans.

7 Shadowheart

Created by LadyTiger5

  • Packs Required: High School Years, Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Discover University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Werewolves, My Wedding Stories, Realm of Magic, Jungle Adventure, Spa Day, Nifty Knitting Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff, and Luxury Party Stuff

There are a few different Shadowheart's in The Sims 4 gallery, but this recreation by LadyTiger5 is one of the best thanks to the attention to detail. Shadowheart has a very distinctive look and style, thanks to being a follower of the Goddess of Darkness Shar. Shar is all about the darkness in every way, and Shadowheart reflects this in her look and her attire (though this can change later in the game if players make certain choices).

LadyTiger5 recreates Shadowheart’s dark and brooding nature perfectly with her black outfit, featuring black fingerless gloves and black nails. Her hairstyle isn’t exact, but it's an excellent choice from the options available with the packs used. She also has her facial scar, pointed elven ears, green eyes, and dark eye makeup. The amount of effort that has gone into all the little details here makes this one of the best Shadowheart Sims in the gallery.

6 Wyll

Created by Eveenka1234

  • Packs Required: High School Years, Get Famous, Get To Work, Werewolves, My Wedding Stories and Vampires.

The charming and charismatic Wyll Ravengard is another potential companion in Baldur’s Gate 3, and he too has a few Sims recreations in the gallery. Simmer Eveenka1234 has created one of the best versions of Wyll, perfectly capturing his valiant personality and nailing his facial features.

This Wyll Sim has his cornrow hairstyle, his distinctive facial scars, and his stubble. The outfit chosen for him works well too, fitting in with what the character might wear in a modern setting. For those looking for the perfect Wyll to add to their Sims game, this version is a great choice.

5 Astarion

Created by lomi29

  • Packs Required: Get Famous, Get To Work, Realm of Magic, Vampires and Moonlight Chic Kit.

As one of the most popular Baldur’s Gate 3 characters, it’s no surprise that there are plenty of Astarion Sims currently available in the gallery. However, this version from Simmer lomi29 makes it onto this list thanks to the excellent recreation of the character's facial structure and hair.

This Astarion looks scarily similar to his design in the game, from his dark red eyes to his long nose and thick eyebrows. He also has his iconic, perfectly styled curly hair. Most of the other Astarion Sims have silver hair, but this one goes for a platinum blonde that is almost white, and oddly enough, it works fantastically well and makes this version of him stand out from the other Astarions.

4 Minthara

Created by EnchantSims

An image of Minthara from Baldur's Gate 3 recreated in The Sims 4
  • Packs Required: Growing Together, High School Years, Cottage Living, Discover University, Island Living, Seasons, City Living, Get To Work, Werewolves, My Wedding Stories, Dream Home Decorator, Star Wars: Journey to Batuu, Realm of Magic, Spa Day, Laundry Day Stuff, Fitness Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Perfect Patio Stuff, Luxury Party Stuff, Simtimates Collection Kit, and Fashion Street Kit

Minthara is a recruitable companion that tends to be missed by many players, as she can quickly become an enemy who can be killed without much thought. Those who do recruit her often find her one of the most interesting companions. Minthara fans are sure to love this Sim version of her, which is another recreation by EnchantSims.

Players that want to download this Minthara in full will need quite a few expansions, stuff packs, and kits to do so, but the result is a realistic Minthara Sim that has thoroughly nailed her appearance, from her purple skin to her very light blue hair, reddish brown eyes, and even her subtle freckles.

3 Lae’zel

Created by Polssair

An image of Lae'zel from Baldur's Gate 3 recreated in The Sims 4
  • Packs Required: Island Living, Get Together, Get To Work, Vampires, Spa Day and Spooky Stuff

Githyanki companion Lae’zel is one of the more difficult characters to recreate in The Sims due to the distinctive appearance of the Githyanki people. There are a few versions of her in the gallery, but this take on Lae’zel by Polssair is by far one of the best options.

As well as matching her dark yellow skin tone perfectly (which is surprisingly hard when trying to recreate her), Polssair has also added scale-like markings on her face. The Sim also features Lae’zel’s pointed ears, braided brown hair, and scathing expression.

The most impressive part of this Sim is the unique, tiny nose, which is a staple of the Githyanki design. It’s hard to get this element of their appearance to look as they do in the game, but Polssair has recreated Lae’zel’s nose pretty much perfectly. Lae’zel stans are sure to want to add this Sim of her to their game as soon as possible.

2 Scratch and Owlbear Cub

Created by JilooStark

An image of Scratch and the Owlbear Cub from Baldur's Gate 3 recreated in The Sims 4 (1)
  • Packs Required: Cats & Dogs

One part of Baldur’s Gate 3 that everyone could agree on was the adorable nature of the potential camp pets. The pets, a dog Scratch, and an Owlbear Cub can be missed in the game, but they make such a huge difference to the atmosphere of the camp that it would be a shame not to have them.

Scratch and the Owlbear Cub have been recreated here by Simmer JilooStark, and they are a must for fans of the best duo in the game. The Owlbear Cub has been designed from a regular cat breed, which seems like it wouldn’t work or would create a creepy cat owl creature. However, the result is an adorable and accurate Owlbear baby.

The best part of the recreated pets is the Owlbear Cub’s given name: Scritch. The BG3 community should collectively agree that Scritch is the canon name for the Owlbear baby. Scritch and Scratch are a pet duo that is an absolute must for Baldur’s Gate players.

1 Orin the Red

Created by EnchantSims

An image of Orin the Red from Baldur's Gate 3 recreated in The Sims 4
  • Packs Required: Cottage Living, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, City Living, Get Together, Get To Work, Realm of Magic, Vampires, Spa Day, Vintage Glamour Stuff, Luxury Part Stuff, Carnaval Streetwear Kit, and Incheon Arrivals Kit.

One of the most impressive Baldur’s Gate 3 Sims in the gallery has to be this recreation of the villainous Orin the Red, created by the aforementioned EnchantSims. This Sim captures Orin’s menacing yet oddly beautiful look, such as her gray skin, her white, zombie-like eyes, her long blonde braid, and even the creeping veins on her face.

Unfortunately, there is no meat-like bodysuit available in The Sims 4 Create a Sim system, but EnchantSims manages to recreate Orin’s disturbing outfit well with a red, transparent outfit and red boots. This design replicates Orin’s in-game look excellently, while not being too creepy. Orin built herself a significant fan base after her appearance in Baldur’s Gate 3, and her Sim is one of the best BG3 finds for fans in the Sims 4 gallery.
