As fans explore the various features introduced to The Sims 4 with the Adventure Awaits expansion pack. While it's fun to take some time to dive deep and explore them, sometimes players just want to skip ahead and get to the fun stuff. Thankfully, there are a few Adventure Awaits cheats that will make Simmers' lives easier in The Sims 4.

How to Enable Adventure Awaits Cheats in The Sims 4

The cheats below are put into the cheat console, but in order to get them to work, players must enable cheats in The Sims 4. To do this, players have to open the cheat console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C (PC), or Command + Shift + C (Mac), or pressing all four shoulder buttons at once (console).

Next, players have to write down the code "testingcheats on" or "testingcheats true" in order to enable cheats. Once this is done, players will be able to successfully use all Adventure Awaits cheat codes.

The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Skill Cheats

Adventure Awaits introduced Sim players to four skills: Papercraft, Diving, Entomology, and Archery. Papercraft is the only major skill on the list; the other three are all minor skills, which means gamers will only need to reach Level 5 to max them.

The cheat codes for the Adventure Awaits skills differ based on the skill the player wants their Sim to learn. Here are the codes that players must input into the cheat console in order to maximize all Adventure Awaits skills in The Sims 4:

  • stats.set_skill_level Minor_Diving 5
  • stats.set_skill_level Minor_Entomology 5
  • stats.set_skill_level Skill_Archery 5
  • stats.set_skill_level Major_Papercraft 10

Players can set their Sims' skills to whichever level they want. The "5" and "10" in the code will max out the skill, but players can use a lower number if they don't want to master it right away.

The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Aspiration Cheats

In The Sims 4, there are no cheat codes for instantly completing an aspiration. Instead, players have to either cheat to complete each aspiration milestone or cheat to receive the aspiration's reward trait.

Unfortunately, we have not yet figured out the cheat code for the Critter Enthusiast trait, which players receive for completing the Critter Hunter aspiration in Adventure Awaits. Therefore, players will have to resort to the milestone promotion cheat code for now in order to receive the Critter Enthusiast reward trait. Here is the code they must insert into the cheat console:

  • aspirations.complete_current_milestone

The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Career Cheats

There isn't a cheat that lets players select which promotion level they'd like in their career. Instead, they have to promote themselves several times to climb up the ranks.

The Adventure Awaits expansion pack added the Park Worker career to The Sims 4, and players can use the following codes to either promote or demote their Sim:

  • careers.promote parkworker
  • careers.demote parkworker

Regardless of the career path that players choose as a Park Worker, they can use the code in order to continue to get promoted.
