Zelda has a unique power in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. A fairy named Tri gives her the Tri Rod, which allows her to copy data from certain objects. A table, for example, can be copied and summoned from a menu at will.
6 Things To Do First In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is another expansive Nintendo Switch adventure, and players will want to do a few things as soon as possible.
Zelda can also copy monster data after defeating them once in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Every piece of furniture or monster uses a certain amount of Tri’s powers, so players can’t summon an army of them on mass, like wheels of cheese in many The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim memes. Out of the many monsters Zelda can encounter in the game, these are the most useful.
8 Strandtula
Sling Webs Like Spider-Man
- Location: Suthorn Ruins
Strandtulas can be found all over the game, but players will encounter them in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’s Suthorn Ruins for sure. They’re not great combat Echoes, but they can make traversing early dungeons easy. They are outstanding in 2D sections as they will spin vertical lines for players to climb.
There will be moments even in the late game wherein tight crevices call for these creepy crawlers. Another great spider is called Crawltula, which can climb any surface; however, controlling it via binding can be awkward at times for non-patient players.
7 Crow
Get Rupees Fast And Soar Through Hyrule
- Location: Hyrule Field
Crows can also be found all over Hyrule, but if players make their way to the Gerudo Desert, they will find them lining the border between grass and sand for sure. For players unaware, any type of flying enemy can be summoned and then grabbed. If players jump off of a cliff, that flying monster will carry them until they get tired.
Crows are a good early monster for navigating heights, but there is another reason they are worthwhile. Players can get rich with Rupees fast in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom if they spawn Crows as their initial attacks will steal Rupees from enemies.
6 ReDead
Stun Enemies With A Wailing Scream
- Location: Gerudo Desert
ReDead is not related to the Red Dead Redemption series in the slightest besides its location being in a sandy location like the Old West. They can be found lumbering around southern Gerudo Desert ruins and, in the early game, they may kill players for two reasons.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – 6 Hardest Bosses, Ranked
These Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom bosses can be taken down if players help Zelda out with these strategies.
First, their main attack is a scream that will stun all enemies onscreen. They are slow, but if they touch an enemy, chances are they will take a large chunk of life out. The stun scream alone is worth the risk of recruiting a ReDead Echo onto the team though.
5 Chompfin
Destroy Competition In The Water
- Location: Jabul Waters (Sunken Pirate Ship)
Chompfin can be found in one of the most mysterious locations on the map in the waters of Zora Cove. Southwest of the Sea Zora location in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, players will find a sunken ship. Swimming around the ship will be a Chompfin which looks like a shark.
Chompfin is the strongest aquatic monster in the game without a doubt and it can even be helpful in the final boss fight. Killing it may be hard, but a good way to try is to shoot it with arrows from the ship using the Swordfighter form’s bow.
4 Peahat
Spin Through Enemy Defenses
- Location: Suthorn Cave
The Peahat should be one of the first monsters that players should recruit in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. East of Suthorn Village is a series of caves and a Peahat resides in the third one, which is furthest from the town. It’s a giant plant that takes a bit to get going, but once it starts spinning it will not stop.
If players summon it in a cramped location full of monsters, it can plow through them easily. The only downside is that it is very weak to fire, but players should know from Pokemon games that plant-based things hate fire anyway.
3 Bombfish
A More Versatile Bomb For The Series
- Location: Jabul Ruins
Instead of giving players bombs like Link in most Zelda games, Zelda will find a Bombfish. It looks like a derpy fish with a bomb in its mouth, and it is versatile for both exploration and combat purposes. Players can activate the bomb and then feed it to monsters like Deku Baba to kill them instantly.
The Bombfish can also explode walls that have cracks in them. Eventually, players will get a bomb as part of the Swordfighter form, but even when that unlocks in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, the Bombfish will be better to keep on rotation.
2 Buzz Blob
Spam These Little Guys Like Fireballs
- Location: Faron Wetlands
The Buzz Blob should be familiar to many Zelda fans as it looks like a walking pickle. If players try swiping it, they can get shocked. Periodically, as it waddles along the Faron Wetlands, this version will release a cloud of electricity. All those who dare walk into it will be stunned momentarily.
The stun part in particular is better than the ReDead as the dome does additional damage. Players can shoot these things out like electric bolts at enemies, and it’s really great once players unlock Tri’s long-reach attack in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
1 Darknut 3
Null’s Weakness Incarnate
- Location: Faron Wetlands
The Darknut 3 is the third and final version of the Darknut enemy in the game. It’s bigger, has denser armor and more HP, and its swinging axe attack is both strong and reaches a wide area. Players can find it guarding an accessory in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom called the Spin Brace.
The cave’s location is east of Scrubton in the Faron Wetlands and the Spin Brace isn’t that great but this new Darknut is. The final boss has a large mass of limbs that need to be chopped and Darknut is just the monster for that, easily making him the strongest offensive echo in Echoes of Wisdom.
